Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta
About
Located in the eastern half of Coachella Valley, Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta (formerly known as "Coral Mountain Golf Club" and "The Golf Club at La Quinta") has a scenic desert landscape that showcases the beauty of southern California. Opened in 2002, the club hosted the PGA Tour LG SKINS from 2003 to 2006, testing the skills of pros like Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, and Tiger Woods. The golf course is situated at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, offering scenic views and a hilly terrain that provides interesting undulations in the greens. The rugged desert is accented by lush oases of dramatic water features, which of course serve as challenging hazards. There are also bunkers bordering the fairways and rolling greens. The golf course can be as challenging or as gentle as you like with several tees available, including the SKINS tees, which play at nearly 7,200 yards.

Golfer Reviews
Excellent Course
Course was in great shape, layout was challenging but not too difficult. The only knock and this could just be the time of year but the greens were in amazing condition but were slow. I will definitely play there again and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of playing it.
Great Layout
Really beautiful track, would play again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for somewhere fun to play with your buddies, this is the place to go. The staff is very welcoming and the service was very good. Overall, a great experience.
Fun course
Great track in excellent condition. Group in front of us was very slow. A Marshall is needed to push slow play
Trouble with the tribbles
So happy to see Trilogy back again, course played great today. Tees, fairways & greens are all great, greens are a bit hard since they are “new” & ready for summer aerification but they roll true & so hold good shots & punish you if you miss. Pads was great, range was wonderful & practice area looks professional. Would love to see perhaps more “water to drink or given a couple of bottles” that would be an absolute homerun on warm summer days. Very kind course attendant brought us cold icy towels which was outstanding & very nice. However unfortunately & it’s not a big thing but they do smell stale or slightly like mildew (nothing some bleach or Fabilioso couldn’t fix. The scenery is beautiful open views of the Santa Rosa Mountains & how quiet it is feels like a private club.
Private Club Feel
Nice course in great summer condition. Greens are beautiful, practice facilities are A+ and the people are super friendly. It feels like a private country club and they treated me like a valued club member. I’d definitely recommend this course and will play it again.
Great Course
The course was in extremely great condition even in hot summer play. From tee to green the course was amazing. Layout is very nice.
Great experience
Great Course
Course is in great shape. Staff was very friendly and welcoming! I’ll return for sure!!
Epic
Got to play it for the first time with a great group. Excellent track everything was top-notch. My group will definitely be doing this again.
Beautiful course!
Our first time playing there and it did not disappoint!
Course in great shape, staff friendly, cart girl available. We will definitely be back!
Outstanding course and amazing staff.
My friend and I played at Trilogy on 7/1/26 and we were blown away by the course, staff, and amenities. Course was I great shape and the staff was very welcoming and informative. Justin in the club house was very hospitable and kind. Arron, the starter was a joy to talk with and gave us some good pointers. Nothing like playing where the greats played. I got a birdie on hole #17 a par 3 playing about 137 yds and named “Tigers Waterloo.” We will definitely return and I give it a 10 out of 10!!! One of my best rounds too.
Fun Day Out
Great shape considering the hot weather, played a bit slow, but kept a steady pace. Greens a tad slow but all the grass was in very good shape, fairways, box’s , very nice.
One of the best courses to play in the Coachella Valley
I will play this course many more times. On the fourth hole one of the employees from the Pro shop showed up and gave us each cold wet wash cloths to cool us down. So well appreciated! This shows us that Trilogy cares about their players.
