Hemet Golf Club

This course has a fun, challenging layout with open fairways. The greens are slow but it adds a little more to the challenge. The whole day was amazing minus the local old grump behind us who felt the need to continually play into us despite us be backed up by four groups ahead. We even let a group that was originally behind us play through as they had fewer players and were playing a pretty fast pace. Oh... and dong forget to order a snack bar hot dog on the turn..... they were magic!! Overall great day fun times throughout the course. I will definitely be coming back.

Hemet Club's recently aereated greens are back to 80% healed...

The green is punched and lots of sand. Not good play today. Was not noted online when reserving tee time.

With a recent ownership change, we are anxious to see bunkers with sand, some fairways with more grass and green repairs.

Work on the bunkers started weeks ago but has slowed down. Some fairways are in great shape but others lacking green grass. Greens have always held approach shot well but some have some rough spots.

The course remains very popular with a nice layout, nice views of surrounding hills and distant mountains, many trees and runs through a great neighborhood in Four Seasons.

The clubhouse has always had a full liquor license buts it’s not used to it’s potential. The decor is like a snack bar. Upgrades with a bar, restaurant and deck seating could make this popular for both golfers and surrounding neighborhoods.

Staff members are great!

The greens on the front nine are being sanded this week so it was twice around the back nine. Not too crowded so we played in less than four hours.

Greens were fine and held well but the fairways have declined in recent months. Most of the bunkers have very little sand. New owners so we expect improvements. Staff members are great.

What is puzzling iOS the long term use of ropes which are nothing but tripping hazards. The fairways are some of the worst in the County so the ropes serve no purpose but to be annoying.
