It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

So, Mr Deer Creek staff member, you're trying to tell me all the courses in the Metro Denver area look like this... yeah.. sure. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Tight fairways and some greens you have to hit
If you can put your tee shot in the fairway you will have a good chance here. There is almost zero rough to speak of, pretty much any miss is OB. The same goes for a few greens, OB is not far from the edge of the green. This combo plus some tight turns, angles, trees and a few rivers make you really think about club selection on many holes. A great course to play, but aggressive play seems seldom rewarded here.
Good shape and pace of play was great...
Great shape be aware to stay in play or the golf balls can add up :)
Greens punched
The greens had been punched within the last week or 2 and they had not been cut the day we played.
Fun time at Deer Creek
Course was in good condition overall, greens were particularly good. back 9 plays harder than the front. course was reasonably full but no problems with pace of play. Friendly staff.
In great shape
Recently gotten a lot of rain. Very green and in great shape. Greens are slow. Practice greens are fast and deceiving, different from the course. Roughs are very long and deep, easy to lose your ball rough off the fairway. Maintenance crews are all over the place and in the way don't seem to care if you hit into them, they should wear hard hats. Fairways are in great shape, some sand traps are flooded.
Well kept, nice layout
Great value for a challenging, fun course. Had almost the whole course to myself on a Wednesday afternoon.
Golf course not in sync with Golf Now bookings.
I booked my tee time online through Golf Now mobile app for 18 holes with cart for 2 golfers paid in full. Once I arrived at the course I was told that no carts were allowed on the course due to wet conditions even though it was sunny warm and beautiful outside and that I owed them 32$ per golfer walking rate which was nearly twice per golfer what I had already paid in full for a Golf Now hot deal. The staff was a little upset that they werent making their original rate of 75$ off of us but I did enjoy the course. It is a short simple course with atleast 11 of the 18 holes being par 3s.
such a great value!!
Paying fifty dollars for a round at this course is a good deal so the hot deal for 25 is amazing! I would absolutely recommend this course. Very well maintained, challenging par fours. Well worth an afternoon or morning!
Beautiful course and great value
My first visit to Deer Creek Golf Club was well worth the 35 minute travel time from Denver. The course is nicely maintained, plenty of challenging but fair holes, and a terrific value. I highly recommend Deer Creek for any level of player.
Nice Couse
Well maintained. We played gold. The tees were shorten almost every hole. That made the course too easy. My friend made 5 birdies, and it was his best.
Great layout! Keep it straight for a relaxing round.
Loved this course. Right next to the mountains with great views. Greens looked fast but putted kinda slow. Played early so that might have been why. Overall well worth the price!
Worth the Experience
This course is above average and a good value. It is currently in excellent shape....especially the greens which are lush and run true. The only con is that slicers will tend to have a more difficult time due to the course layout which favors those who hook or draw the ball. I like that the price always includes a cart. This is consistently one of the best courses in the metro area for the money due to its private ownership.

Fun Challenge
This is a relatively tough course for an intermediate golfer like myself. Very narrow. several holes where you need to carry your drive well over 200 yards just to get over the very tall grass. no room for error in most places. not a flat spot on the course, always hitting the ball above or below your feet. all of that said, very fun course. the staff was awesome! Very friendly. I would recommend this course for anyone looking for a tough day (in a good way) to try to push yourself and your game.
Old, Chewed Up?
I thought this was one of the nicer courses in the area so what I found when I got out there surprised me. There was an huge number of unrepaired divots all over the place and the cart path was mostly destroyed (old). Pace of play would have been reasonable if it wasn't for a hacker foursome slowing everyone down. The layout was kinda cool as it wove between houses, creeks, and crossed some streets but the location is poor with road noise from C-470. I got a decent price on golfnow so I can't complain TOO much but this was my first time there and I was not impressed enough to go back.
Very Tough for High Handicapper
I read a lot of the GolfNow reviews before booking a round (less than $20 with cart) so when I got stuck in traffic I was concerned that they might try to bump my reservation. When I arrived the grumpiest pro shop guy ever was explaining to someone on the phone why his GolfNow reservation wasn't honored -- saying that they don't accept weekend and holiday discount bookings whether they are listed on GolfNow or not. I didn't care so much about the outcome but he left me standing there for more than 5 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement.
I ended up playing most to the course solo so it was very challenging for me. There are a lot of holes where you have to carry the swamp and land your ball blind or in some direction nearly impossible to ascertain from the scorecard map. There are more creeks, swamps, chasms and gullies than any course I've played and the landing areas were mostly small so losing a ball was realistic on each hole (especially when you don't know or can't see where to land it). That said, it was a real nice mental challenge because it wasn't just a choice of driver or 3-wood of each tee. Some holes were 7-iron off the tee and 6-iron to the hole. It was a really nice mix and all the challenging geography was very scenic. Adding to the challenge was the gusting wind coming off the foothills as the sun set. One hole played upwind so much that I tired to take a longer club into the fairway low and hit it almost perfectly but it took a high bounce and a gust of wind blew it back toward me and caught the cart path and nearly rolled back to the tee! It also took some time to get used to the deceptively slow and fuzzy greens.
I've just started playing and, though I really enjoyed the challenge, the course probably requires more accuracy than my 25 handicap could reasonably play on a regular basis. But I could see how a low handicapper might enjoy it although it may play a little short. And the staff didn't seem very friendly to GolfNow.
Great course for the bucks
You'll NEVER play a better course for THIRTY DOLLARS! When they advertise that rate, I always play. 18 holes, with a cart for $30.00 Has to be the golf bargin of the year.
Front nine is somewhat hilly and most fairways slope severly from left to right. Seldom a cart girl on the course, and when there is, if you see her twice during your round, you're one of the lucky ones. Back nine is flatter but more cattails to hit into. Fairways are decent and the greens are better than most average public courses
Nice golf course.
Nice golf course with good scenery. The staff is friendly and accommodating,
Nice Course- Slow play
Staff was good. Course in good shape The only problem I had was that I was a single and they added a fourth person to the group at the last minute and I had to be squeezed between two groups of four which contributed to very slow play. I had a very good round so it didn/t bother me. If I had a poor round I would have been more upset about it.
Okay for the price.
Everyone was attentive from the pro shop, bar staff and cart girl. They've had problems with golf carts the last 2 times I palyed here. They are short golf carts. I did not get one until 10 mins before my tee time last time. This time the battery charge light came on while going up hill to the #1 tee and the starter had to call for another cart to be brought out to us.
