Whisper Creek Golf Club

Started golfing about a month ago and began branching out to all the local courses. Wasn’t too big a fan of not being able to see the green from Tee a lot. Back 9 is MUCH prettier and more fun than the front 9. Course took on A LOT of rain the evening before and held up very well. Putting was tricky here, definitely a course to aim straight for the hole…go ahead, try to play the break and watch an amazing feat of physics. Was lucky enough to get paired with a resident who spoke highly of the course and neighborhood. 3/5 stars, might like this course once I get a little better!

This was a very interesting and appealing layout. While located in the Del Webb development the course is routed so holes are a good distance away from the actual residences. Plenty of length ( 6650 yards) from the main tees and can be played further back. Greens huge and we’re in excellent condition and ran true. Beautiful wetlands and native foliage. Amazing value for sure. Would recommend having range finder or similar yardage device. Overall a truly enjoyable experience

Pace was slow due to the ranger not getting the foursome in front to stay on pace. 4.6 hours to play 18. Sand traps are in poor conditions and some greens need TLC. No beverage cart during play. Will play here again.

Last minute tee time. I felt no pressure behind us with a 750 tee time. Fairways are wide, greens were true, and staff friendly.

The sand bunkers weren't very good. Need to add sand.

This will be an amazing golf course for the price however you’ll have to wait till they finish redoing the bunkers on 16 holes. Holes 1 and 18 are only completely bunkers.

Challenging course. Kept my interest. Well maintained fun to play.

Potential to be a hidden gem. However out of all bunkers on entire course there was only one you could play out of. Not sure if they are waiting on new sand but it was literally pick up your ball out of bunkers and place on turf besides first hole.

Whisper Creek is a GREAT course. It is always in GREAT condition. The hole are challenging and different. The staff is off the chart friendly and try’s to accommodate you. I have played this course many many times. My only suggestion is hole 8 and 18. NOBODY likes these holes even single digit handicap golfers. Most EVERYONE suggests that you put a tee box on the other side of the water, other than just the red tees which was initiated this year and make the course a 70 par. That would make this course just about perfect. Although it still remains a GREAT course.
