Eaglewood Resort & Spa
About
Located just northwest of Chicago, the Eaglewood Resort & Spa opened for play in 1932. It is a classic championship golf course, built during a time when the long drive was unheard of. The 6,017-yard layout seems short by today's standards, but the course still offers a formidable challenge. It features rolling fairways lined with century-old oak trees and wildly undulating, difficult-to-read greens with varying speeds that fluctuate depending on the weather, season, and even time of day. There are generous landing areas but they are bordered by deep, strategically placed bunkers that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The carefully sculpted and plentiful bunkers are a prominent feature of the layout. Eaglewood's scenic landscape also has three lakes that come into play on eight holes.

Not impressed
Not impressed by the quality of the course or people. We looked for a credit for last 9 and was told it’s our issue to deal with with golf now. I sent a tweet to golf now with no reply.
We had folks behind us tee off too soon, hitting balls during our play and a staff member indicate we need to drive to ever single ball. Wasn’t enjoyable. We solved our own issue by letting them play through with our partner but at no point were they talked to when we mentioned they were too aggressive and knew it based on direct comments to us..
Would not recommend when there are other nice golf options nearby to choose from.
Excellent as always
The course was in excellent shape, per usual. Sharing a property line with Medinah, it's always quiet at Eaglewood and the routing makes the most of the property they have. Always enjoy my round here.
Always a Pleasure
We play this course often because it is always a pleasure to play there.
Old Nordic
Love the course and friendly staff . Weekend pace was way to long ,5 hours . Will play here during the week .
Good Challenge, Excellent Condition
I have played here many times. I got a new appreciation for the course this time around as the course is in outstanding condition. Highly recommend!
Great course for high handicapper
Course was in GREAT condition.. Greens were particularly nice. This is a perfect course for some one who like me shoots in the mid 90's regularly. Shot a 42 on front and 45 on the back.. There was a screw up on the Golf now website. Paid for cart but when my receipt printed it said cart wasn't included. Guy at the Pro shop took care of us so Thank You!. There are some cheaper courses in the area but I don't think you'll be disappointed. here.
Fantastic course
The course was in great shape. It was very hot out so there were not a lot of golfers out. Staff was really friendly. Would play there anytime
Resort golf
Short golf course even from the tips, but interesting holes with some variety. Course in decent shape given recent rains. 4:10 round on Saturday morning, which I found good.
Lovely course all around
After not swinging the sticks for a few years, this course was a good place to start getting back into the game during COVID period. I will be back for sure.
Nice course. No signs on holes....
The course was in good shape and fun to play on. Weird thing was there are no signs on the course and with the zig zagging layout it's hard to find ththe proper next hole sometimes. Thought that was odd but besides that was a solid course to play on
Slow Back. Backed ip
The pace of play when I started at 140 was horribly slow. Constantly waiting for forsomes and no rangers at all. The last 3 holes were so backed up that I saw two groups waiting. I left rather than wait it out. Otherwise the course was in nice shape
Short but challenging greens
I really enjoyed the course and it was in great shape. The course has a ton of short par 4’s but the greens and pin selections still make it fun and challenging. Fun round for the not so serious golfer...
