Quarry Pines Golf Club

Mike is 100% not the first person anyone should have to encounter when dropping your bag off. He started back pedaling when he realized I was not going to tolerate his unwelcoming attitude. The course has a cool layout with lots of elevation changes but is very unforgiving. The greens are almost as hard as the cart paths.

I like the course layout and its challenges. This is the worst I have seen the greens in the last 4 years. They didn’t roll out smoothly. They were pretty bumpy.

The visit to The Pines Goof club was a good one overall. We did play midday on Sunday and with the volume of our winter visitors here in Tucson the pace of play was slow. Our round was over five hours long, however we had good company in our group which made the situation tolerable. I would recommend playing the course, just try and get out a little early or prepare yourself for a long day if you play on a weekend. It’s front 9 is traditional and enjoyable, and the back 9 … get ready for a whole different experience.

Really enjoyed the course and the day. Everything was going well until our experience with the cart beverage girl which became an uncomfortable experience. This is not time I've experienced this with this gal. And the I the guys I was playing with said the same thing, she is very rude.

This was a very interesting course. The front nine is challenging, but laid out pretty well. The back nine is very difficult and really beautiful. I would definitely play here again.

My first time playing in Arizona. course in Tucson did not disappoint. A nice mix of layouts of holes, even saw roadrunners and coyotes. Beep,beep.

A normal front nine is followed by a spectacular back nine with fabulous elevation changes, tight up and down fairways and manicured greens. So much fun to play! I’d play there again whenever I could.

Solid layout, greens, fairways, traps needs a bev cart!

Always a fun and challenging course. You need to place your shots.

We love playing this course every time we are in Tucson area

I have played here dozens of times and love this track. Disappointed that in peak season the bunkers are in need of sand and some of the staff outside of the clubhouse could use a refresher on customer service. Cart attendants and rangers were rude and condescending. Never saw a drink cart and was not informed there would be none. Not sure how they can invest in actual sand in the bunkers. I had to take drops the few times I ended up in bunkers.
