Quarry Pines Golf Club

The 2 nines were very different with the back being very hilly, many going over ravines. More challenging but still very fun. Parts of the rough was little long and we lost a couple balls that we should have been able to find. Definitely would play this course again.

A 40-degree temp drop certainly changes the golf experience! Parched greens and compacted sand bunkers are problematic, but otherwise the course is in decent shape after overseed and always fun to play -- especially the holes in the "quarry." Tip o' the cap to anyone who can par #11!

Lots of improvements from the staff to course conditions. Greens could be faster and smoother. Club house staff was engaging, stopped at the turn for food. That was also a pleasant experience. Saw a beverage cart for the first time in two years. Check it out..

Great day at the Pines. Pace of play a little slow because foursome in front of us were hitting 2 balls each off the tee box.

We love this course and try to play it a couple of times a year. Scenic,challenging and in great condition. Worth the drive from phoenix.

We played shortly after overseeding so conditions were not perfect but the course was generally in good shape,and the greens ran true. We have played this course twice now and love it. The fairways are tight, and some on the back nine are truly intimidating from the tee box. But it’s a fun track with some very interesting holes on the back nine in particular. Staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s great value for money. But bring lots of balls, you’re very likely to lose a few, especially on the back nine.

The pace is that of a turtle. Too many golfers back to back and you're waiting 10 minutes minimum every hole. Also there is no sand in sand traps. Just hardened mud. No cart girl either.... I paid $73 to golf at 10:30. $35 is the max I would ever pay for that course again.

The pace of play was very slow. Waiting on each shot. When we got to hole 10 and 11 there 3 group backed up at each hole. By the time we hit 16 groups were driving around us to leave the course. It’s to bad because the course is great and is a really great layout. The back 9 is spectacular.

Tee off time was booked for 11.04. Actual tee’d off at 11:45. No apology of reason. On every tee there were 2 groups waiting and by the time we got to the 11th there were 3 groups on one tee. Each tee we waited on average 10 minutes. Gave up what was the wirst game of golf ever after 12 holes taking 3 hours and 45 minutes. Provided feedback in the club shop and only suggestion was to pass comments on via a survey. We subsequently found out thst 2 groups turned up late and were allowed to play rather than refused entry. Stopped serving food at 3:00 pm and var shut at 4:00 pm. Would ignore this course and play elsewhere.

Fairways were in great condition. The greens were very hard dry and fast. Back nine pace of play was so soooo slow for a Monday afternoon.

The golf course is always a fun challenge. The pace of play was bad. The foursome two groups in front of us was extremely slow. We had over a 30 minute delay on #10 tee. At one point there was three foursomes at the tee box.. our round lasted well over 5:15 minutes. Employees saw this and did nothing to remedy the situation.
