Tricky track
Diabolical greens and fairways force you to be accurate. Highly recommend. Great staff and course in great shape. Bring lots of balls 😂
Typical desert course
Took grandson and his girlfriend to play here. The course was busy, we waited on many holes. When tge ranger came around 2 times the first time he said we were 25 min behind but when we went to the next tee box the players ahead of us were on the green. The next time he declared the guys behind us were waiting in the tee box. They were but when we got to the next tre box we were again waiting on the players ahead of us who were about 150 off the tee in the fairway. The players behind us were fast players. and hot into us 2 times. The guy who was the ranger needs to reevaluate his ability to.be a ranger.
Great layout
A couple tricked up greens. Little room for error on several holes. Condition of some holes were burnt in areas. A few fairways slanted too penalty areas. Golf now charged $20 more than fees at course for 2 people.
Fun day
First time playing course. It was a fun day. As a 12 handicap did not find it over challenging. Even My 20 handicap playing partner had no problems playing the course. The back is all the hype, but we both came through unscathed. Would definitely play again.
A day in the sun.
Course was in great shape.
A Desert Gem with lots of facets
My wife & I are fulltime RVers. We visit Tucson for a few weeks every year and Quarry Pines is one of our must play courses each time we are in town. Since we are retired, we can almost always find a good TeeTime deal during the weekdays which means my review might be a little different than someone who is forced to play only on a weekend. Take my word for it, this is not a course you’ll want to walk. The huge elevation changes and some of the distances from green to the next tee make a cart necessary. The staff who take care of the carts are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The Starter is very organized and he keeps things moving and on time. The course is beautifully maintained with good tee boxes and fast, fair greens. If you are wild off the tee, bring extra balls, the deep canyons and thick desert plant-life can make retrieving an errant shot pretty difficult, if not flat out impossible. When you look at the yardages from the different tees, the course may seem short to you. Don’t let the distances fool you, This is a tough challenge and you will need just about every club in your bag on one hole or another. The par 3 holes are especially challenging, with number 6 being my favorite. Good luck and have fun. I’m sure you will enjoy the course as much as we do.
Quarry Pines
Very playable front nine, turn the corner and all breaks loose. Make sure you bring lots of golf balls, don't look at your score, just enjoy.
Very Nice
Best course for the money in the area. Friendly staff inside and out The layout is tight but fun. Some target golf. Some just let it rip. Great outing and will be back
Fun Course
Quarry Pines is well maintained. Sand traps are typical for Tucson (not very good), but fairways and greens are very good. The layout is challenging at times but also has holes that even a beginner can enjoy.
Great Course
Course was in fantastic shape. Played the ball down the fairways were so nice. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of tee selections so you can enjoy at your level. Love it , will go back.
Nice course good value
Course is in great shape and lower cost makes it a must play.
Painful pace of play
Pace of play was completely ignored by the staff. Over 5 hours to play and the marshal did not help to speed things up. Golfers need to be held accountable for their pace of play.
Also, they need to put sand in the traps. They are rock hard.
