Quarry Pines Golf Club

The course is in excellent condition with 3" rough. As always, there's ample opportunity to lose golf balls on most holes. The traffic noise from Hwy 10 is a definite distraction for three of the front nine holes; while the lack of a driving range is also a deterrent to play.

Like playing this course annually..but

the need of course rangers to keep the pace of play enjoyable is desperately needed.

The front nine is a fun and enjoyable 9 holes, however the back nine is the most enjoyable, the awesome views , elevated tee decks, and long carries over waste areas are what make this course so enjoyable.

Can't wait to play again.

This course is convenient for us and has tee times that meet our needs. Pace of play is generally slow particularly in the fall and spring when we are here. They certainly could use a course marshal to speed up play. Many times we’ve encountered players hitting numerous shots and players w/o their own clubs. This is particularly frustrating especially when the course is busy.

I found out new management was overtaken. The initial impression was the cart person and check in person was not friendly. They were condescending as I was late to my tee time because of cross town trek to this course. The golf course is still good but new management should encourage better pace of play. Nit thrilled by this overall experience. It’s a shame for just a nicely played out course.

This course has two very different 9 hole layouts. The front is fairly benign with nothing other than a big water hazard on one hole. The back nine goes down into the old quarry and has narrow fairways cut into the hillside, narrow fairways on ridges with steep drop-offs adjacent to the narrow roughs, multi-tiered greens, significant elevation changes, and several "target golf" holes.

The course is beautiful, very unique and challenging, especially the back nine.

We had a wedding party in front of us, there were 4 carts two holes ahead of us and at least 6 golfers in the group, in front of were 2 carts and 4 golfers, it was obvious they had little golf experience and no etiquette, they were constantly yelling and dancing around, very loud!

the issue was we were waiting for nearly 10 minutes per hole while these guys were constantly looking for balls, taking excessive practice swings, going back and forth to their carts to get different clubs etc., needless to say we only finished 14 holes, would have been nice for a ranger or a staff person to break up the "party" and either speed it up a little or let us play through.

Course is spectacular visually and really interesting to play. Back 9 is deep into the quarry, and will force you to be creative. Highly recommend.

Course was in fair shape. More importantly no range, no GPS on carts and no beverage cart all day. Even no water at the water station. Would not play again

Conditions were good, pace of play was 4:10. Enjoyed the layout, it's scenic and challenging. Lack of an active driving range was the only negative.

Two distinctly different nines. Hit it straight and enjoy the tricky greens that’ll test your skills. Don’t be fooled by the yardage. Elevation changes, greens and shot placement really make you think.
