Quarry Pines Golf Club

I would have rated this a 5 except for the Pace of Play. Had we been a foursome it might have been better, with us included in the 4 1/2 to 5 hour pace. I can understand it based on the difficulty, had we understood that we would have opt'd for a different course being that we were a two, following a three, following foursomes. We got to know the group ahead of us. lol. The bag guy was a bit gruff and not so communicative on arrival, but on departure he was friendly. First time there so didn't know where to go, leave the cart, drive the cart, putting green direction, starter etc. Great course condition, very reasonable rates, some amazing hole layouts!

I loved the layout of the course. The issue is I couldn't tee off by 230 pm and finish the round due to slow groups ahead. Marshall's were non-existent.

I like most everything about Quarry Pines except there is a problem with pace of play. My last three rounds there was at least a 10 minute wait almost every hole.

Course was in great shape and the experience is worth it, but beware, we purchased a 6 pack of beer, $37.00!

We talked to some other people who play here, they all said the same thing, we bring our own drinks, cant blame them!

Love the course! The course is in good shape, very scenic, and always challenging. Staff are friendly and helpful. No driving range but good chipping and putting green. Pace of play was good. We enjoyed our round.

For the money, this course is hard to beat in the Tuscon area. Excellent conditions and beautiful scenery with a challenging layout. No driving range is a downer and no on course beverage service was disappointing, but those things are overshadowed by the positives already mentioned. Pace of play was a little slow on the back nine.

Definitely worth playing. My only complaint is that the sand traps are lacking sand. There is more dirt than sand.
