Quarry Pines Golf Club

The course was recently opened after annual overseeding, so cart path only was still in effect. However pace of play was not bad considering a crowded Sunday afternoon with those restrictions in place, about 4:15.

Greens are slow but true, fairways in very good shape. Bunkers and tee boxes pretty shabby though.

I play here once or twice a year. It’s a good value, and kind of fun. The back 9, through an old quarry, has some unique holes.

Like most area courses with over seeding play is cart path only. Greens likewise slow. But it is that season.

Back 9 makes the course. Worth the price alone.

Quarry Pines just came out of overseed and had heavy rains the night before biut the crew was on it and got it into shape quickly!! Always a fun course!

I will tell my friends that it is a must play. THEY need to grt a driving range

Quarry Pines is a very unique course. The course was in excellent shape after overseeding. Fairways were green and lush and the rough a couple of inches deep. Greens were slow (as expected) but held wedge shots. Pace of play was excellent even though cart path only. The back nine quarry holes are a definite challenge! My only wish is that there was a warmup facility (even hitting into nets would help). I hope management keeps the course in tiptop shape. Will be back.

The course is in great shape after overseeing. The pace was slow due to the cart path only rule (understandable.) I wish they had a beverage cart but they did offer an ice bag with your beverage purchase at the bar.

I have played this course 3x this summer and this last round I played Saturday (September 10/2022) was in tough summer shape. Fairways were green and in decent shape but the rough was burnt along with most tee boxes, not sure if this was in preparation of winter play but the course has been in much better shape during the other 2 rounds I played this summer. I still in enjoy the lay-out of the track but I was not impressed this past outing.

This course is always challenging and fun to play. It's such a unique layout for the area and is very picturesque. Will be back for sure.

Second time here,will come back. Had lots of good shots and lots of bad. Over all a good day.
