Quarry Pines Golf Club

I think quarry pines is one of the best deals around. Beautiful views, organized, the perfect pace of play.

This is really a terrific course with a great layout and some challenging holes. It’s well maintained and really a treat. However, the last few times I’ve played, they were almost 5 hour rounds! The staff does not manage the pace of play at QPGC and it’s going to hurt them in the long run. The course can be challenging for some and they just need to manage it more effectively. If they can’t move the slow foursomes along, it will hurt them in the long run and I will surely limit my rounds there. No one wants to play a 5 hour round!

Front nine is better than you think considering it's near

Back nine demands good golf shots or lose some balls. course was in great shape

Nice course, nice layout, but very, very narrow. Have to play " the game".

Pace of play nearly 5h. Greens were almost perfect.

Nice view to make some goods pictures.

Group in front of us was 2+ holes behind. Where were the marshals? 5 hour round for them and everyone behind.

Course was in good shape and that’s where the good part ends. Had to hear from what I think was starter telling me I didn’t have a tee even though I had a receipt saying differently. Had to wait 5-7 minutes while he fumbled with I pad or something and then just tells me to go and boy was it slow. The worst part was the golf shop, grunting and pointing are pretty crappy ways to welcome golfers. I have played over 1,800 courses in my life and this was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I will not return with at one. Word of advice, when somebody pays you money, say thank you and have a nice day. Don’t flipping grunt and point.

From the time you load up your cart after the warm welcome in the clubhouse until you return after having the course bring you to your knees, it's a real treat to experience this course. The front nine is a challenge that gets you ready for the back nine which is an adventure to say the least. Be prepared for at least 41/2 hours on the course as many golfers find themselves in over their heads on the back nine. Wonderful way to spend a day on the course.

Tee boxes and fairways were good but the greens were too slow. May have to do with the type of grass. We will play again when we re in Tucson.

Insanely slow day per usual at quarry. Had to play the front 9 twice because there were 4 groups backed up on the back. This is the second time that has happened here. They need to do something about this since you should not be racing the sun with a 1 pm tee time. Honestly my least favorite golf experience in Tucson.

Had a good time with the guys I was paired with but come on with the pace of play here.
