Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Great layout challenging but when you put tee times seven minutes apart it creates a nightmare !

A beautiful course, but maybe a bit too difficult for most players.

Old Corkscrew is a great layout that is very challenging (138 slope from the blues). It was in the best shape I’ve seen it it and the day was fantastic. We did not play particularly well and were appropriately punished for it but it didn’t matter. The course invites you to try challenging shots but you have to execute and there are reasonable bailout areas however you will lose balls in the water as it comes into play on several holes. It’s a bit off the beaten path but worth the trip from whatever direction you are coming from

Every hole is a puzzle as to how to get to the hole. Fun!

Beautiful layout with no housing. Very picturesque... Can be an extremely challenging if you choose blue or black tees. Many elevated greens require precision approaches. Definitely worth playing.

Great course but grounds crew shows no respect to players. Had to listen to a chainsaw for half the, even on the same hole.

Loved playing last year but this it was so enjoyable, don’t think I will chance it again for the money it cost.

Pace of play was perfect. Scenery was amazing!! The staff was top notch!

If you are familiar with Nicklaus courses, you will know what to expect. Lots of target shots, risks/rewards, and critical second shots. The Course is surrounded by water and OB so it rewards accuracy and solid ball striking. There is a very nice range and short game area. the practice bunkers are exactly what you will find on the course. The sand is consistent and deep so if your sand game is on, you won’t mind landing in a trap or two. The greens were soft and accepting, somewhat slow for my taste but in decent shape.

As a fast player, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of play. We rarely waited and we played ready golf. Because of the course difficulty, it attracts better players which most likely accounts for the decent pace of play.

The price was very fair for the value and we will return as well as recommend to friends.

This course is a beautiful layout, has great conditions, and is a good value. The staff was great, play moved along at a great pace, under 4 hours, and it was a pleasure to play. Although more expensive than I would usually pay, it was well worth it for the experience.

The course was recommended to us and it lived up to its billing. We had a great time from the welcoming staff all the way through. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice place and in good condition. For a fun day with my dad, the course was too hard for him, but we kept it light and enjoyed the scenery. I found the experience frustrating at times - the greens are tricky and small but there is no info given to the player! No book, gps on cart doesn't tell you how many tiers on a green, ... several times we had to drive up to the blind green before going back to play our shot. Otherwise, it was brilliant. I will be back.

The course is way too difficult for the above average golfer. Layout and landing areas were blind on many holes. Some of the approach shots were into blind postage stamp size greens with numerous sand traps on the perimeter. Really in all fairness it’s truly too difficult and should be left to the scratch players.
