About
Carved from forests of towering oaks and pines, Old Corkscrew Golf Club exhibits all of the superior characteristics that define Nicklaus Signature courses. The absence of houses around the golf course adds to the secluded and peaceful feel that is provided by the dense thickets of trees that surround it. Jack Nicklaus himself was a prominent presence throughout every phase of the course's construction, incorporating well balanced holes that vary in direction, look, and feel. Proper club selection will be greatly rewarded on this golf course. The fast-paced, undulating greens sit up to 20 feet above the lush, rolling fairways, which can create some tricky pin placements if you're not careful. Old Corkscrew Golf Club's fairways are rather generous, but they are framed by carefully sculpted bunkers. Several large ponds come into play on nearly every hole and there are also numerous sand traps strategically placed along the greensides.

Best course in Naples
Reserved tee time last minute. Course was wide open. We played in the morning and had no one holding us up or pressing us. The course was in good condition just coming back from maintenance but this is very common in Florida courses this time of year. The course was still very playable. Best course of the all the courses we have played in Naples. Will definitely come back with more players.
This course never lets me down
This is a wonderful Nicklaus course. Extremely difficult from the tips. Only gripe is this time of year the greens are coming back from maintenance. They do discount the rate but we played a course 20mins away for half the discounted price in absolute pristine condition. I always play this track when coming to Naples. Regardless of the maintenance I always go out as the layout is definitely top notch on the difficulty level. When the greens are running 11-12 it’s a crazy hard putting experience but satisfying at the same time. But during maintenance there is sand on the greens and the ball just rolls a bit different and slower. I recommend if you are in the area you must play this course.

Feels like home
We love this course friendly staff and fair price, you don’t have to worry about hitting houses there are none! Scenic and challenging. Need to add items like ciders for the folks that don’t like white claw and give more gluten free options for golfers on the course. But overall we love this course more than any other in the area.

The course was in good shape except for the greens. The greens were scalped and recently aerated.

Beautiful, fun and challenging
This is our third time playing here and it is a great course. Excellent conditions with a few minor exceptions on a couple of greens and bunkers. Natural location is rare for the area and course design is diabolically Jack! Makes you think about every shot but it’s fair and playable. Best course we’ve played in SW Florida
