About
Carved from forests of towering oaks and pines, Old Corkscrew Golf Club exhibits all of the superior characteristics that define Nicklaus Signature courses. The absence of houses around the golf course adds to the secluded and peaceful feel that is provided by the dense thickets of trees that surround it. Jack Nicklaus himself was a prominent presence throughout every phase of the course's construction, incorporating well balanced holes that vary in direction, look, and feel. Proper club selection will be greatly rewarded on this golf course. The fast-paced, undulating greens sit up to 20 feet above the lush, rolling fairways, which can create some tricky pin placements if you're not careful. Old Corkscrew Golf Club's fairways are rather generous, but they are framed by carefully sculpted bunkers. Several large ponds come into play on nearly every hole and there are also numerous sand traps strategically placed along the greensides.

Excellent track! Play it!
Played here on Tuesday on a hot deal. Excellent experience from start to finish. Bag drop and pro shop were professional and very friendly. Range balls included in the price so take advantage. Definitely make sure you hit some putts cause the greens are fairly fast with some definite break, but they putt very true and pure. The course was immaculate. Conditioning was top notch, fairways and tees. The layout was great. Keep it in front of you and play the right tee box and you can score decent here. But you have to strike it well. Some very challenging holes and visually really great. On most of the holes you feel like you are the only group playing - I love this aspect of the design. No houses so no worries. Bottom line book this and enjoy it! You will not regret it!
First tie playing but not the last!
This is without a doubt the most beautiful, most challenging and best conditioned public course we have ever played. Now that we are a bit familiar with the coyrse we.cannot wait to play it again. Thank you for caring for it so exceptionally!

Palmetto Country
As a somewhat errant tee shot maker these Florida courses lined with Palmettos are a tough test. I refer to those pretty and nasty bushes as the 'Black-Hole of Golf Ball death'. They look great but stay out of them.
Course is beautiful, challenging, a few blind shots...but overall a great place in great shape. Worth the bucks to play. Just make sure you are hitting pretty straight and have a few spare balls.

Simply put it is the best place to play, course condition is immaculate, staff is spot on, practice facility is second to none.
I’ve played 3 times now I can’t wait to get back at it!

Always a must play
Played this course each year when visiting and this course is always a must play. Today was disappointing in the green speed. The greens were sloooow.
If you play in the morning be sure to get the breakfast sandwich. It was awesome!!

All in all, a nice course with a good practice facility (driving range & putting green).
During my round the fairways were still a bit wet/soggy (drives plugging) and I was a bit disappointed in the conditions of the greens. Otherwise, if the fairways were dried out and the greens in good shape, I'd enjoy playing th course again.
