Played this past weekend on a windy day with a full course of golfers. A Nicklaus course, this one is very challenging (slope of 141 from the whites) under ideal conditions. But a number of the greens are suffering from fungus, with some containing significant areas of sand/dirt. We were informed of this as we arrived, but told the rate was discounted by roughly a third from the normal rate. Paid $195 plus tax.

The course is a handful for mid-handicappers (more than that on the windy day we had) and a predictable source of frustration and delay for those with higher handicaps who don't know when to put the ball in their pockets. These factors led to waiting for the group ahead, and being held between green and next tee a couple times by marshals who were friendly and apologetic. The friendliness of all the staff we encountered was notable.

My view: If you're a low to low-mid handicap player and want a real challenge, this course will give it to you. But even with a reduced rate and a friendly staff, I don't consider it a good value right now. Wait until the greens are healthy again and peak season is a thing of the past, then bite off all you care to.

Regret going. Quit after 9. Rates should be way less for such destroyed greens

All 18 greens have been ruined by a fungus and filled with sand. Virtually unplayable.. would have been nice to know before they took my money.

I played this course 6 weeks ago, the greens were disgusting. Moldy and slimy with plenty of bare spots. I called and asked if they fixed the problem with the greens before I booked again again. I was told they had. Bull.The mold was gone but covered with thick layers of sand, it was like putting in a bunker. Total ripoff. How can you not grow grass in Florida?

Greens were horrible. They should be ashamed of himself for charging that kind of money.

The course was difficult. Narrow at times with a lot of sand traps. It is beautiful and scenic. Several greens were in terrible condition and didn’t roll well. All greens rolled slow. The tee boxes were okay, but definitely in need of some grass seed and water. Fairways were beautiful. Will return as we get a good price on GolfNow. Thanks!

Reviews of this course have been awful due to the conditions of the greens. They are no doubt in poor condition but most of the greens are playable. There were about three greens that were in unacceptable condition. The fairways and tee boxes were in generally excellent condition. I got a reduced rate of $165 snd thought that this was fair. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would come again as long as the rate was reduced.

The pace has you right on top of the previous group and the next group being extremely anxious , hitting into you

The staff was friendly, they discounted the price and apologized for the course condition. We had an enjoyable round given the weather and the condition of the greens but their condition took away some of the pleasure. Looking forward to playing it when they have been restored.

Bunkers where not all taken care of and some of the green surrounds where not well taken care of.

Full price charged although greens in horrible condition. Overseeded with green sand. Hard fast and bumpy. No thx.

Layout is awesome. Challenging. Conditions tee to green were pretty good. We knew greens were in need of repair but they were in need of replacement, which they are doing in 2026. I would NOT recommend playing here until that is done.

The staff was amazing and was very upfront with the condition of the greens. And while the rate to play was discounted, it was discounted enough as the greens were extremely bad with many not having a blade of grass on them. Their rate should be much less than charged given the greens condition.

I've played the course a few times before and was looking forward to playing again. However, I walked away disappointed. In the past the greens were great today terrible. I understand the course is going to go private.

I had planned to rebook for a couple more rounds but will move to another course.

Greens were horrible. Worst I have ever played. They should have told us before we played.
