Lake Presidential Golf Club

This course every time I play is over booked. Tee time was at 11, wasn’t able to tee off until 11:45. It took us 3 hours to get through 9 holes! I paid for 18, couldn’t stand it after 9 and left. This happens every time. Stop overbooking

The pace of the course was very slow. It took us 9 holes for almost 3 1/2 hrs. We didn’t finish our round.

Course is in good shape for wintertime, green and not beat up. Busy warm day during holiday week I expected it to be busy which it was-ok. We had a 5 some playing in front of us and would have been behind another group of 6 but they offered to let us go ahead. The single my wife and I were supposed to share tee time wanted to play by himself. No starter, ranger or course management of play to say the least. The group in front was slow, frequently having multiple people spending lots of time looking for balls that were hit into hazards and they were about 3-4 holes behind the group in front of them. Never offered to let us play through so we skipped the 9th and went onto back nine. Never caught up to another group until 12th hole and they were moving at pace. I’d read bad reviews last summer regarding pace of play here and can say I’d love to come back to this nice course often if they could mange their tee times and pace of play better.

Beautiful but challenging course. Played in a little bit of rain and still had a good time. Course has great maintenance even in the winter!!

Love playing Lake Presidential, especially in the off season when the rates are down. You can't beat the grass range and chipping green. The starter was wonderful, doing his best to mitigate the frost delay. Only went off about 10 minutes after our tee time.

This was my first time playing this course. I’ve read mixed reviews but wanted to see for myself. I was very happy with the layout and the friendliness of the staff. I was paired with a great threesome. I will definitely play this course when I’m in town again.

I enjoyed my game there played in a three some first off tee for day had a great time.

I had a 2 PM tee time and was not allowed to tee off until after 3 PM. When I requested a refund as I was not allowed to tee off for the time I reserved, I was rudely denied. Needless to say, I will never entertain the idea of going back based on the level of unprofessionalism I experienced and complete lack of competency by the individuals managing the course.

We booked what we thought would be plenty of time to play 15 holes or so today at Lake Presidential. They had let so many players on the course that we teed off 40 minutes late. Pace of play was abysmally slow; we had long waits at each hole. Although the cart message system kept telling us the Marshall would be forcing slow players to skip holes, if it happened it didn't help. We were running to our balls to do our part. It took us 3 hours and 15 minutes to play 9 holes. We asked for a 9 hole voucher. The manager was very brusque and told us the rate was a good one so we should only expect to get in as many holes as we could regardless of the slow pace. It was not offered as a Twilight rate nor was there any such warning. It"s thev2nd time I've had then bait and switch rates on me. Don't waste your time and money at Lake Presidential.

I know this is hit or miss for some, but I was hoping there was a food cart. How cruel

Don’t play unless you have 6 hours and a lot of patience.
