Windswept Dunes Golf Course

Long course out in the country. Very secluded, some houses, but mostly wilderness. Challenging greens due to slopes, but they rolled well. Some course maintenance in progress on a couple holes, but not really an issue. Really enjoyed the round. Great value.

Every thing is big. Lots of tee blocks to appeal to all, wide fairways and huge greens. Have played it several times and will continue. Good golf experience.

A little drive out of destin, clubhouse nothing fancy but course is really nice. Very good value and worth playing!

Loved how wide open this course was. Lots of room off the tee and large undulating greens on every hole. Each hole was private, you felt as if you were the only one one playing. The course is long so plan on using the big stick often. Water not really an issue. Large fairway and green side bunkers are challenging. Greens were putting fast and true.
The head pro was friendly and helpful. Pace of play was not an issue as the course was not crowded on a Wednesday morning. The only negatives: no GPS or Clubhouse (they operate out of a trailer). I will play again on my next vacation in the Destin area.

The course is great shape considering the amount of rain we have had in this area over the summer. I always enjoy playing Wind Swept. I love when GolfNow lets you play it for super cheap.

Wide open, not crowded. Great potential with more maintenance. Lot of rain caused poor drainage. Enjoyed the course because of price with Golf Now!

Long course, especially for women. Was extremely wet due to lots of rain but in super condition. Peaceful & beautiful for a course out in the middle of no where

It is long for women especially but in great condition. Has some beautiful holes . No fancy clubhouse but to us that isn't a factor.

Not really worth your time unless you can get it for $25.

The course is long in play and the way it's configured. Never see the same whole twice, the layout takes you thru many trees and by homes along the track. Fun course, I will be back when it's cooler.

This course played longer than the yardage listed. The greens were rough from aeration and the bunkers needed attention. A good layout and challenging.

WITH THE HUGE AMOUNT OF RECENT RAIN THE CREWS WERE WORKING HARD ON THE FEW AREAS OF FLOODING BUT OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE

Challenging layout with the undulations in the bermuda greens and numerous snad bunkers. The course was a liitle wet in spots due to the heavy rains this summer, but did not take away from enjoying this scenic course.

I played this course solo and wished I could have shared it with others. This was one of the most enjoyable golf experiences I have had. The course is open, the fairways and greens were in great shape and it made you think about your shots.

This was the first course I have ever played in which I used every club in my bag in one round.

I would highly recommend this course to any golfer as it also has very reasonable greens fees, especially compared to many of the courses closer to the beach.

Wonderful course that had the feel somewhat of playing some local courses in my home state.

Huge greens but don't be fooled. They are not easy. The staff was nice and helpful. With the heat it was nice that there were plenty of water coolers spread around the course.

The course may appear to be challenging to the novice but once you view the course as a whole then you will understand that the fairways are much wider than thought.

This place will be on my list every time I return to the area.

Price needs to be lowered until conditions are improved.

You can tell the development has been through financial struggles but the golf coarse is maintained and a joyful challenge to play.

Nice course. It rained, however, we waited it out and finished our round. The water drainage was good except for a couple of holes. We've had so much rain the last few weeks, I would guess that on a normal amount of rainfall those holes would not have been wet. The only negative issue, the par three tee boxes had no yardage makers on them and we didn't have a GPS on the cart so guessing the yardage didn't work good for us.

I will definitely return and play again!08/08/2013

this was a real pleasure playing from tee box to green a lot of fun ,loved the way the course is spread out from hole to hole going thru nature and super nice homes., we will go back again .
