The Home Course
About
The Home Course in DuPont is considered one of the best public golf courses in Washington. Throughout the walkable layout, golfers will enjoy scenic views of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Mount Rainier. It's a long course at 7,424 yards from the back tees. The challenging greens play fast and true, and they are complemented by wide fairways with generous landing areas. There are several challenging holes where you'll face strategically placed bunkers and subtle, but tricky elevation changes. The golf course begins with a few open, parkland holes and then it gets more challenging. The seventh hole is one of the toughest, starting from an elevated tee to a green that is neatly tucked behind a lake. The final holes provide stunning mountain views for a memorable finish.

nice course
always a great time playing this course. Course is in great condition.
Great Golf Course!
The Home Course is really a great course. The layout is open, so there is plenty of forgiveness on most holes, but it still has it's challenges. It can get soggy in spots during winter. With the GolfNow deals it's really a great value for a US Amateur-hosting course.
Great course, slow play especially for a Thursday pm.
Beautiful and well designed, with unique use of dynamite bunkers on several holes. Very challenging greens, lots or slope and quick. Fairways were wet and even a little muddy in places.
Picked a wild day
Picked the day of predicted thunderstorms to play, and course was almost empty. Got in 12 holes before it opened up. Usually walk, but took the cart, thank goodness. Greens are among the best ever, smooth and fast, and they reward a good approach shot. Well-run operation, even when few customers there. Excellent range and practice facilities including large bunker in as good a shape as those on the course.
Great Course
This was an amazing course. I played the first hole without rain and then the next 2 holes in the rain. Despite the amount of rain they already had earlier in the morning, plus the rain for the two holes, the course was very playable. There were some place on the course, especially the tee boxes where there was water just on the surface. Other than that, the rest of the course was fantastic. You can see Puget Sound from holes 16 and 17, what a great view it was.
This course is definitely a must play. I'm looking forward to a return trip in the next couple of months.
Love this course
I've played the Home Course twice now and both times have been excellent experiences. The golf course is very well maintained from tee box to green on every hole. It is fairly open and somewhat forgiving. A couple holes have really nice views of the Puget Sound. I'm a little surprised on how small the clubhouse is for this course, but no big deal. I always look forward to playing here.
Beautiful, solid course
Very nice course. Nothing too remarkable, but solid and fun to play. Great conditions. Difficult but fair greens.
challenging & different kinds of holes
great layout of different kinds of holes & yardage for all levels of players. hard greens keep you on your toes. a really fun course
Might be my new favorite course in Western Washington
This was my first time playing this course and I loved it. The course was in excellent condition all the way around. The fairways and rough areas were well kept. The greens were fast and rolled very true. The views of the sound and Olympic mountains are stunning. The fairways are wide and fescue was cut very low which made the course a little less challenging, but there is enough water and sand on the course to test even the best shot makers, particularly on approach shots. The driving range and practice greens were also very well kept. All around a great experience, and a course that I'll be playing a lot more often.
wow!
Beautiful day to start along with a fabulous course layout! On a some of the holes you can see the Puget Sound, and on others Mt. Rainer! Just an enjoyable day with friends! 8/21
Worst fairways ever, ruffs in reg. are what you want!
Will never return, I was told that only months ago the course was immaculate but some how now the fairways are destroyed.
Great Golf
Everyone should play at The Home Course,One of my favorite place to play
outstanding links style course
took advantage of a hot deal and was pleased with it all... the course is starting to brown in spots due to lack of rainfall...the fairways played hard and fast.... but the greens were in good shape.. large with plenty of undulations. they were smooth and fast, and ran true..and approach shots ran, ran, and ran some more..... there were stunning views of Mt Rainier from most of the holes, and on the front nine you had views of Puget Sound also....Bring your A game and you will have a good time... They do have a beverage cart now, and a stand that sells some nutrition. a clubhouse in on the drawing boards, and that will be a great addition when it happens
Fantastic
I've played virtually every coarse south of Seattle and yet this one had eluded me somehow. Big mistake. The coarse is in pristine condition with every detail accounted for. I will absolutely be incorporating this course into my routine.
I'd play it again!
The Bald Eagle flying over was awesome and the "Stick of Dynamite" Tee marker's was a nice touch!
This is a quality course.
Play it 10 times a year. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would suggest that if you are in the area, this is a must play.
Great everything.
I have played this before.
And the course is always in great condition.
The staff are all very nice and courteous. Will deffinately play again.
Tough Trek-Needs Water Badly
Play here once or twice a year usually account it's a bit of a drive. Has always been in pretty good to excellent shape until this year. Patches of bare hard dirt in fairways and on a few tee boxes & a crazy amount of sand on almost dead but still relatively fast greens. Waaay over priced for the condition it is in, much better south sound options available at half the price.
Challenging, beautiful, friendly staff
Great view Mountain Rainer, a lot of blind shot, fast green
Great views of Mt Rainier, the Olympics and Puget Sound
Course was in good shape and the views spectacular. Greens had a light overcoating of gray sand which didn't effect putting too much. Fairways and greens were generally in good shape. The rough was browned out fescue (typical for the Puget Sound area) and rocks were ever present in these areas. Free drops were allowed from the rocky areas to prevent club damage. Played on a beautiful sunny day with a club member which helped enormously in identifying lines off the tee and trouble areas on the course. Highly recommend this course to visitors and locals as well.
