Palm Creek Golf Club

From a distance the drill isn’t green color says excellent conditioned course in a desert backdrop. However, once you approach the putting surface you quickly discover your putt going hop, skip and bounce. The three hour round was enjoyable. The $10 hot tee-time and wonderful company (married residence) made for an delightful day “I guess you do get what you pay for”!

Course was well groomed and maintained. Greens continue to improve. I prefer the layout of the back nine over the front. Overall, I enjoy playing this course.

Everyone was very pleasant and the course fairways were in very good conditions.

Several of the greens must still be recovering from weather issues. They will surely be great in another month.

Don't get bored when you play the front 9 because the back 9 is much better and very much more interesting.

Played this course a couple of weeks ago and only the front 9 were open. Whole course is open and in much better shape. The greens are still recovering but coming along nicely. I liked the layout and challenge of the back 9 much better than the front 9.

Have golfed this course last year and was a very enjoyable round with lush fairways and well groomed/trimmed greens.

Very disappointed with shape of course today. Recent rains a few days ago was part of issue but fairways were not only wet in spots but not cut & had pieces of palm trees all over fairways.

Greens are in terrible shape, plugged, extremely slow & shaggy. Have golfed other courses in and around Casa Grande & I must say this is worst one in area. Hopefully they can get it back into the shape it was a year ago.

They need maintenance people that know how to look after the coarse.

Overall it's a little hard to say. Only the front 9 were open so I can't provide any feedback about the back 9.. It's a par 3 walking only. The front 9 fairways were long and the greens are very hairy. The front is flat with water on 1 hole. Would like to play again when the course has recovered from the summer and all 18 holes are open.

I understand that it is early in the season but did not expect it t be so bad as other courses in the same area e.g. Dave White and Francisco Grand were acceptable. The grass on every tee box was so high that our tees were lost, the fairways were like golfing in the rough and the greens were like the fairways. Totally frustrating. They should not be opened yet.

This is such a beautiful golf course. When you drive in, you see green and water which really relaxes you. To see so much green in the dessert, really soothes the eyes. There are little bridges here and there and lots of little creeks. Love this course for my short game.

I've played this course several times now and really like it. It helps me sharpen my short game up which always need tweaking. The course is always in great shape. As far as I'm concerned the fairways and greens are better than you'll find anyplace, even the high end courses. If your looking for a short day on the course try it.

Zorn

This was a very nice Par 3 course offering a full 18 hole course layout. The course was well maintained including the greens. A fun little course that offers a reasonable test to fine tune your iron play.

This is second time we played the course. The pro shop and starters allow 9 hole groups to start at hole 10 when there are several groups of play coming off hole 9 and this creates 20 - 30 MINUTE DELAYS for golfers who make the turn at 9th hole. Pro shop should not allow afternoon golfers to start at hole 10 if they have groups of players playing 18 and making the turn at 9th hole. Golf pro shop needs to make changes and be cognizant of this as it is frustrating to golfers to wait and have other golfers cut into the course of play....

The course is in very good shape. The greens in particular are near perfect and I only found one or two ball marks per green that hadn't been repaired (kudos to the resident golfers). The starter at the turn (hole 10) is a bit of a character...all bark, no bite. She's on a bit of a power trip, but take a second to chat with her and she's actually quite pleasant albeit quirky. Pro shop staff and the starter on hole one were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The course is fairly easy and in great shape. Most of the people you see here are rather stuck on themselves and the staff seems to be more worried about your proper attire than whether you enjoy your round of golf.
