always a great value
Always a pleasure to play at Mission Royale. The staff are great and the course is in very good condition. The greens are still on the slow side after the overseeding but will improve with time. As the price of golf continues to move to the stupid side, Mission Royale is great value.
Lost opportunities
Greens were very spotty slow like they haven’t been cut in a week lots of dead spots on the fairways no ball washers with water in them. They did have a frost delay that they didn’t seem to be ready for. No one in the restaurant to serve us. Couldn’t even get a cup of coffee. Too bad the passed up on sales there. I played a course only a couple of miles away and there greens were fantastic.
Worth the drive
We got a good deal, we played this course last year. The course is 2 week away from awesome.
Affordable course
Course is coming out of overseed and is in very good condition, however greens have some patchy spots. Sand traps have been improved greatly with added sand since last year. Good course for players of all levels.
Golf Surprise at Mission Royal
1st time playing at Mission Royal and we were pleasantly surprised. Course was in good condition, fun layout, and no waiting till hole #17.
only going to get better
Played Mission Royale to start off the winter season. Great place for a tune up. Course is just opened after overseeding. Cart path only the day we played which was fine. The pace was good considering. Greens are still super slow but its only going to get better with time.
Cart Path Only
Was surprised that we could not drive on the fringes. I have a bad knee... replacement next month... had to quit after 14 as it was too difficult to walk back and forth on uneven fairways (which you want on a golf course). Would not recommend this course during cart path only for anyone with walking challenges.
Over priced and bad conditions. Get what you pay for and book at the Ribson ranch 10 minutes away from mission royal. You won't regret it. The starter was extremely rude. The guy at the front desk was nice.
Missing features
There are no yardage markers, no ball washers, limited water and garbage containers.
