Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

One of our favorite courses
One of the best run courses in our area.
Other than allowing a single through our group the pace was just under 3 hours for our round. The only downside was the greens had recently been verticut/sanded and bunkers are still filled with mud from the rains (TX July Rain Yay!)
Great course as usual.
Great course. Love playing here. Phase of play was a little sluggish but overall great. One thing bad was I only saw the cart girl once the entire 18 holes.
Good course to play
This golf course has a good layout. The price is moderate and the pace is acceptable.
I do recommend this course to anyone that wants to enjoy a good game of golf. We are in Texas, ignore the weather, just have fun.
Mansfield National staff has done good job bringing up the quality/condition of the course to a level that makes the 40 mile drive worthwhile. Nice course.
Mansfield National
Staff was excellent, course was in good shape even though they had gotten a lot of rain in the two previous days. The only bad thing is that it’s a very long drive from Rockwall and the traffic is terrible. Other than that, we’ll worth the drive.
Great round for a great oricw
Golf course was in great shape. Greens were very smooth. Pace of play was good and everyone was friendly.
Good course for the money
This is a good course to play along or with some friends. The layout is simple but it offers some challenges. I am a 12 handicap and scored an even 80 for a par 72 from the white tees. The pace of play is always fair.
Great Value
Great value! I would like courses to look to keep one person per cart. Pace of play dramatically improves. We got around in 3 hours, 15 minutes, and we were following a foresome.
Just OK
I have played Mansfield National around 6-8 times now. Usually everything is nice and the staff is usually friendly. However today was different. When we arrived at the course, we walked into the pro shop, checked in and told the clerk that one of the people that had been out with our group was NOT with us. Any other time wouldn’t be a problem, however because of everything taking place their policy says they will not pair another player with you group is they are not with your original group. We had a 3-some and they joined a single up with us. I just simply mentioned it as I didn’t want the course to get in trouble or anything and the clerk got very defensive with me and said I was reading the policy wrong. I just smiled and said it’s no problem I just wanted to make sure so that the pro-shop knew he was not part of our “original” group. With that said, the fairways on the course were average and grass from the rough was overgrown into the fairway, the greens were still being repaired from airriating and they were over-seeded and VERY slow to putt on. Oh well no biggie just think it could be better for Mansfield. Just my opinion.
