Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Mansfield National
Course was in good condition for Texas lack of rain. Greens were in great shape and rilling true! Had a bobcat come by also.
Great Track
Course Is in very good shape. Greens are great for this early in the year. Great Staff.
Sloooow pace
Overall a good course. 18 holes took almost 4 1/2 hours. Was done just before 8PM. Took almost 30 mins to hit on hole 10 alone. Literally 4 groups one on top of each other and didn't see a ranger once. Hopefully this was partially due to the current virus situation. Everything else was acceptable to very good.
Great Course, Great Day
Beautiful day for golf. The course is in great shape. The pace of play was awesome.
Too many slow golfers
I get that COVID-19 has made people walk that probably have not done so in 20 years, but the pace of play was miserable on this occasion. Furthermore, instead of each person in front of us walking to their own balls and playing them, they not only played "honors" golf, but helped each other look for their frequent lost balls. Twice, I thought they had gone around a corner or were far enough in the fairway to be out of range (i.e. over a hill), but they came out of the woods after I hit and were mad at me as if I should have known they didn't have any idea how to walk a golf course.
The last time before this that my HS aged son and I played, we walked 18 in around 3:15. This round took 4:30, and for no real reason as there was not a group in front of the guys in front of us, who made no effort to let us play through.
Mansfield
Greens and overall condition are improving. My son & I were pleased to play.
Pace of play
Only got on 12 holes very slow waited for cart availability because of one person per cart even with spouses
Cart path only
Our tee time was around 10:00 and the course did still have minor water issues however, the Sun soon dried the course to an acceptable condition and I feel like the 90 degree rule could have been enacted. The Marshall did make one pass during our round and he could have announced the change in regulations at that time. Just an idea to help enhance the golfer's experience. Some cart paths need to be repaired / replaced as well
Overall, the experience was good.
MN
Course is in good shape for this time of year. I look forward to playing it again. My only complaint is there were too many golfers on the course, very slow play.
Mansfield National Golf
Played Mansfield National on 26 April 2020. T-Time was 8:10. I played as a single and was paired with a threesome. Pace of play was average we were slowed only occasionally and finished around 4 hours. Greens are in good shape however noticed some divots in the greens. Green speeds were average to slow. Overall a good round. Had fun. Mansfield National allowed the use of sanitized carts. I did not have to walk!
The course was in fantastic shape. We played in 2.5 hours. We could still ride in a cart and you saw staff cleaning each individual cart just prior and right after to people getting in and out.
Average
Typical Muni. Slow greens, rock hard fairways with very little grass and clumps of rocks in the bunkers. Course needs some TLC and to space tee times
