Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Great course
I really enjoyed this course. I was lucky enough to play with some very nice local guys who helped me navigate the course. The course was in really good shape considering how cold it was. I will definitely be back!
Nice course
Have played at Mansfield National a few times and I really enjoy it. The fairways and greens are in good shape and the course is not overly difficult for a hacker like myself. The staff are very friendly and the amenities are good.
Great course
I have played this course several times over the last year and each time I was not disappointed.
3 Hour round
Fairways excellent greens were very slow today.
Speed of play was incredible today.
Well taken care of
The course is in great shape, especially compared to others in the area who are not inclined to water enough to beat the drought. Carts need some work, which brings me to my only unpleasant part of my round today. The website states they have GPS on all carts, according to the rude guy in the pro shop they “took those off years ago”. I told him they should consider updating their website since I would have made a stop to pick up my rangefinder before my round. He then argued with me saying it’s not on their website, but that I read someone else’s site, which was wrong it is on their site. See photo. Other than that, greens were pristine and quick and fairways were nice.
NON SENSE
Got there an hour before my tee time to go to driving range. Range was closed. Asked if I could go ahead and play early, guy said I needed to wait an hour until my tee time before I could tee off.
First tee was wide open! Course was not busy at all. I may not play there again after this.
Good local course
I always enjoy playing here and now even more so since they've cut back on the vegetation ( it was much tougher.) Nothing to complain about actually. Wished we lived closer!
Fun course and great value
Enjoyed the course. Took my dad and his girlfriend to play it. Course was in okay shape. It had rained that weekend so I'm giving them a pass a little bit. Like the layout as well.
Good Value, Good Course
The weather was what made it... high of 89 in late July?? Wow! Plus, my son shot a -2 ... 70... round of his life. Really like the course.. greens a bit bumpy, but rest in good shape. The range was closed, so just gave average on that part. Fairly wide open, but there is difficulty and danger on the course with water and trees. Finished in about 4 hours.. not too bad.
Over it
Been playing here for years because it’s only 10 minutes from home and is my hometown course but I’m done! Bunkers and traps are either mud holes or rock pits usually, occasionally they groom them for major events but usually ignore them. This time I came and paid weekend rates to find that the greens had been punched and sanded, in the middle of July with holes the size of a nickel and enough sand to make the greens look like a Florida beach! All this after enduring another “welcome” by “angry Rob” in the pro shop! The driving range was closed for 6 months for a major redo and after being open only a short time they close it again. All the while advertising green fees that include range balls. I’m over it and will now drive an extra 20-30 minutes to one of the other courses in my area. The only bright spots about Mansfield National are the friendly and efficient cart girls (especially Faith) and restaurant.
What a mess
Mansfield have some of the worse greens in the area however this year they have out done themselves. It seems they do not have the correct equipment to aerate. the greens have been destroyed aerating during the hottest time of the year and dragging some kind of harsh rake over what is left of the greens as created the worst conditions I have ever seen. Post hole digging is not aerating haha.
Good course!
Overall it is a good course! Some holes are not forgiving if you hook or slice! Nice greens and fairways!
