Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Mansfield National
Course is in good shape...staff was friendly. It was near 100 degrees and the water coolers were out of water. There was a golf tourney on the course which slowed play somewhat. Overall a good day on the links.
Same great course
The course was in great shape like always. Fun mixture of holes.
what Sand!
course was not in bad shape, but due to lots of watering there was water standing on some holes at 2 in the afternoon. The greens are incredibly slow. and the bunkers are just dirt and rocks, no sand. They have never been good, but this is about as bad as ever.
Good course for mid-level players
Greens and fairways were in good shape. Pace of play was good, 3-1/2 hour round. Sand traps need work. Cart girl Bella was friendly and seemed to get around the course quickly. It was very hot out and she was a very welcome sight.
Good course
Never played there before but had heard great things about everything except pace of play. Made sure to get an early tee time and had no issues. Course was in great shape and a nice layout. Fairways were tight but fair, no water to speak of, lots of bunkers but I managed to avoid them so I can't speak to how difficult they might be. Greens looked nice but seemed slower than I expected. Staff was very nice. Would play again.
Mansfield is always a great course to play..........greens and fairways were in great condition......
Mansfield golf couse
Friendly golf course. The course is in great shape now.
Course was in very good shape. Teed off at 5:40 and didnt run into any traffic until hole 17. Only complain is the greens were extremely slow. Putting on carpet slow.
Great greens!!
Nice layout. Great greens. 3 & 1/2 hour round on a Sunday.
IF YOU BOOK A HOT DEAL THERE WILL BE A TOURNAMENT IN FRONT OF YOU
Love the layout of this course. Can't stand the staff, they book many tee times right after tournaments. Last few times I've been there were tournaments in front of me and we played a 5 hour 9 HOLES.
IF YOU BOOK A HOTDEAL I CAN GURANTEE YOU THERE IS A TOURNAMENT AND YOU WONT FINISH 18. They will not warn you about such tournaments or give you any heads up at all. They won't even tell you in the proshop. Also goodluck getting a refund.
Very slow pace, very frustrating.
nice course
have played here many times but 1st time in long time. course was in great shape, greens were awesome and putted true--could tell they had aerated few weeks ago. for most part course is pretty open but still interesting holes and decisions have to made off tee and where you want to be in fairway to approach green. usually busy but we played Mothers Day early morning and pretty much had course to ourselves. enjoyable to play, will play it some more
The greens are way better than last time we played.
Greens were in good shape and pace was slow at first then sped up on the back 9 . Beer is a little pricey almost 30 for a sixpack . They could cut a golfer a break on on 6 and 12 packs. The cartgirls were cheerful and around more frequently than last time. Overall we had a good time and will be back when hotdeals come up.
Awesome
Mansfield National is an awesome golf course and the value of playing there is awesome!! The only concern is the pace of play that could be marshalled a bit more for the pace of play. The pro shop staff are very awesome and friendly at all time whether it morning or afternoon they alway have a smile on their faces to greet all golfer!!
Honest Review
I’ve played this course many times but it’s been a while. Let me be fair in this review and say the course and greens were in relatively good shape. That said, I will not recommend anyone coming during the weekends. It took us 6 1/2 hours to play 14 holes and eventually My buddy and I just left and went home. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. They had a couple pairings of 6 and a 7 that wouldn’t let anyone play through and were actually sharing clubs and taking multiple mulligans. When we complained to the club house they literally laughed and said they’d take care of it and did nothing. Multiple calls were put in from the stacks of people behind us and there were no marshalls, and a regular there said Mansfield National has become notoriously known for the brutal pace of play on the weekends. He said they have just become money hungry and as long as you pay they don’t care what happens. I thought that was a bit of an exaggeration but after playing I have no doubt there’s some truth to that. With so many courses in the area, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
