About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Pace of play
Entirely to long to play .....waited 10 mins on every hole .....skipped 5 holes and it still took over 4 hours
5+ hour round
Previous two days lots of rain, cart path only, so play will be slow, I get that. They booked tee times 7 minutes apart and then have everyone wait 15 minutes on every tee box. Slowest round I have played anywhere. Took over 5 hours for a round. No marshalls for pace of play to keep groups in front from hitting multiple mulligans off the tee box. No discount for walking, even on a cart path only day. Slow greens. Won't be back.
Poor Front Counter Help
Had an early tee time and was understandably delayed to a Frost Delay. We checked in about 30 minutes prior to our tee time and were told we would go out in the order times were scheduled. A group of 8 showed up about 30 minutes after we did, checked in, putted around a bit and drove off to the first tee. when me an another gentleman asked how they got in front of us the guy at the counter yelled at us and told us they had a earlier tee time than we did. He then proceeded to tell us to not worry about it and just go get in line to tee off. Once we drove to the first tee we asked the group what time their tee time was and came to find out it was scheduled 37 minutes after ours was scheduled. the guy at the front counter had lost control of the tee sheet and had NO CLUE what he was doing.
Bad experience with low life golfers
I'm sorry but I have the worse round of my life at the Mansfield national golf course, I tried to skip a hole because a group of 6 Asian people were in front of me, but as soon as they catch up with me they insulted me and didn't let me tee off,so I have to stop playing and it was at the 6 th hole, this really upset me and disappointed me this people didn't have any respect for the game of golf, the golf course or anyone, sorry but I m not coming back to Mansfield national golf course.

Conditions
When booked we weren’t disclosed an any of the conditions of the course. We paid $113 to play a round that lasted 5 in a half hours. Not to mention that the driving range was under construction and that wasn’t disclosed. What made us mad was that every green had sand and rocks on them and on multiple occasions we had to wait because the sprinklers were going off on the greens. I’ve played here plenty and it is progressively getting worse. I will not be playing here again.

I thought they had closed golf course because of rain, Guess they didn't send u email, which means u have my money.
WASHOUT TODAY
Started raining on number 6 and had to stop playing because we were soaked. Can't find any GOLFNOW button to see about rebate. Not sure if VIP is worth the money after they quit answering phones.
Course is ok condition.
The course still had a lot of water on it. Other than that it was a lot of fun!
Great golf experience as usual.
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was good and course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain we've had. Greens were a little slow.
A fun round.
I had not played here in a few years and the forage growth was amazing. Course condition about great save a few steep bunkers, meh! A few blind shots kept things interesting. Cart girl came around 3 or 4 times on a Monday!!! Overall we had a great time.
slow greens
Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Greens were very slow. 2nd cut from fairway is very thick and almost always lose your ball. Should be mowed shorter. Bunkers were not raked at all and were hard packed dirt/sand. Cart girl and concession girl were very nice.

Was really surprised the course was in such good shape with the heat. Will play again although it's a ride from weatherford

Very good course for a beginnerAlso good to practice on your game.Wide fairways so don't be afraid off the tee.Greens have a true roll
West Texan's Perspective
I'm from west Texas where we have no grass at all so it was nice to have lush green fairways and near perfect greens. We played during high winds and thunder so the course was more challenging, but nice wide fairways really helped. First gut of rough was perfect length to add difficulty, but not penalize a slightly errant shot. I loved this course and will definitely play it again.
Slow play
Never play this course on Saturday!! Tee time were 40 minutes behind. Asked the group in front of me when their tee time was and it was a 3 minutes difference. Took me 4.5 hours to play 13 holes . Left outa frustration. Would’ve easily been a 6 hour round. The people in the club house acted like it was the norm. Love the course. Hate that they do the money grab on the weekends
