Mansfield National Golf Club

I loved this course. I’ve been meaning to play it for months but it is a little far from me so I’ve held off. I’m so glad I finally came. Showed up for an early 7am tee time and it was amazing. I was especially impressed with the course layout - I’ve played a lot of courses in the area and none were as complex as this. I feel like they do an exceptional job of differentiating every hole, so that no 2 are the same. They also have quite a lot of land considering they are near a neighborhood -after the first 4 holes, it becomes a whole different course. Will be back.

No fault of the golf course groundskeepers but I don’t understand why golfers can’t seem to rake sand traps or repair ball marks. Greens were littered with ball marks. If you make a ball mark you should repair it and fix two that were not yours. There seems to be zero golf etiquette in municipal golf!

First time playing here. Great layout the greens are in good shape as well as the fairways. Will definitely come back to play again.

I have played a lot of courses in the area from Cleburne, Burleson, Fort Worth, and Mansfield. I will say this course was in absolute beautiful condition after this Texas heat beating I was expecting some dead grass but boy oh boy was I wrong not one patch of dead grass. The fairways are very well taken care and the greens are absolutely perfect but just be careful as they do roll fast!!! I would recommend this course to anyone! I would say the only downfall to the day was the back 9 there was a god awful smell hat that lingered throughout the course but other than that no complaints!!!

Course was in excellent condition and the pace of play in the afternoon was excellent. Only small issue was the transmission on the golf cart I had sounded like it was ready to fall out.... it didn't and had no issue going around the course

It was overall a good outing. Long hot Texas summer taking toll on fairways so they were good knowing the heat in them this summer. Greens in afternoon were hard and fast did not see any watering going on but it was heat of day afternnon. Facilities felt a little

Tired needing some refresh. Bathrooms nearly existent on course.

This course is a 50 dollar course at best. They charge 69 dollars for nothing. They finally fixed the traps, you can actually play out of them. Greens are super slow, slower than anything around. Drainage sucks here. Definitely not worth 69 dollars.

This golf course is always in good conditions, the greens were good.

I was having a normal round with few bogeys and one birdy until we came to hole number 12, par four, 300 yards, dog leg right. I hit a very good ball that cut the corner. When we got near the green, we were not able to find my ball. I decided to pitch another ball near the green. When I was going to putt the second ball, my friend was going to lift the flag when he said: Cesar, your first ball is in the hole: I had a hole in one in a par 4. I had a hole in one in a par four.....There is a real golf God. Amen

Most courses in The area this time of year the rough doesn’t hurt you too bad, that’s not the case here. The rough is thick and tough to get out. Greens were a bit bumpy for my liking.

The staff member I encountered charged me an extra $20 because I wasn’t able to share a cart with my wife was with me but when I pulled up to the first hole; the other golfers weren’t sharing a cart either and were completely able to share.

I will start by stating this is normally one of my favorite courses to play. They recently did some improvements to the cart, paths and bunkers, but their greens are in horrible condition. Three months ago they were in excellent condition. 🤷‍♂️

Lots of sand on greens, ball will not roll straight and hops. Some tee boxes hard as rocks. Obviously they need water everywhere and nothing natural coming from the skies. At least cart girl friendly and made frequent rounds.
