Sundance Golf Club

I've played here many times over the years. It is consistently kept in good shape and provides a good golfing experience. It's one of my go to courses. I'd go more often if I could afford it.

Sundance is one of the better value courses, in the valley. Under $70 for a course that’s kept good. Has some challenging holes yet is also forgiving. Our foursome finished the round in 3-1/2 hours!!!! Gotta love that! Only thing I did not like is we bought a bucket of beer, to start the round, and the course opened all the beers. I guess that’s their rule? Didn’t like my beers getting flat. Just buy 1 at a time I suppose.

The course was in very good condition and the pace of play was excellent.

Had the course to myself for first nine. Afternoon tee time and not many players out there. Greens are fast, and fairways are getting the good rollout. Went for beer, wings and pizza afterwards with my wife and it was excellent as usual.

Since Covid, the expense to play golf here in the desert has gotten crazy. Sundance covers the necessities and makes a round of golf enjoyable, still challenging, and a good value. Nothing fancy here but if you just want to play at a friendly place and good conditions, this place deserves your consideration.

this is a great golf course! tees, fairways greens in excellent shape. course design and greens undulations make it challenging day to day. nice facility. ok, what's the "but"/ PACE OF PLAY!!

today was good at 4 1/2 hours but i'm sure most of you prefer it closer to 4. i've been out here playing 5 plus hour rounds, i have left after 3 holes once and 9 holes a few times. they need a good stern but friendly ranger to ride the slow golfers-give them a warning, then lay down the hammer. go ahead and offend them. you don't want them returning anyway.

Course was in great shape and for the money its perfect.

Well worth the price.

Played an around there for the first time, very nice course. The greens were a little inconsistent some faster than others but overall good fun round of golf and we’ll be back.

The course itself is in great condition, however. 1) The guy at check in was rude to say the least, he acted like he was being inconvenienced. 2) 90 degree rule this time of year is ridiculous, 3) There was no course ranger to keep the pace of play up which resulted in a 5 hour round which is beyond ridiculous, and 4) We saw the beverage cart once in 5 hours.

This is a target golf course in the desert with lots of desert scrub and waste areas everywhere. If you hit it straight it is not that hard to find the greens in regulation. If you are a great putter, you will score well but the greens have significant slope, usually 3 or 4 different ones on each green. Some long putts broke in three different directions. Where there is grass, the grass is great - no issues with tee boxes, fairways and greens. I thought it was fun to play, not sure I would play it every week but an occasional round would be fine.

The course was well maintained. It was challenging with will placed traps and hills. We had a great time and it pushed our new to golf limits.

I love this course. Good value. Greens are fast but forgiving. Bring drinks because the cart girl is an endangered species.
