Sundance Golf Club

About
Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Nice course
Pros:
Only paid 8$ after golf now discount
Friendly staff
Good layout
Great pace of play (Although my teetime was at 11AM and no one else in their right mind was playing 18 in 100 degree weather)
Cons:
Had to pay for range balls
Greens were punched and sanded the day before (on 7/14/2025)
Hidden Gem
It’s a course out here in the west side of town that I can always count on to be a bang for your buck, and quick play.
Pace: 3 hrs
Tee box: Freshly cut
Fairway: Best you can get for the middle of summer for a non fancy golf course.
Greens: Great condition rolls a little fast.
Always a great time!
Course is always in great condition, layout is fun with challenges for all levels and price is fantastic. The first hole is a short par 4 that energizes you to get after the course and the final hole is par 5 with well placed bunkers. The driving range and putting green are good and the pro shop is always clean. I’ll be coming back many times!
Good Course
When we played we had a new cart girl. We only saw her once during the round. Not holding it against her, but it was triple digits during the round and we were plowing thru drinks.
Fun in the fourth
Great course pace of play was great got all 18 in just under 4 hours. Course conditions were good greens were deceptively fast . Would definitely recommend and come back to play
Poor course management
4th week in a row I’ve tried playing early tee time by myself.
Week 1. 1st tee time. None of the flags were in.
Week 2. 2nd tee time. I watched the 2some in front of me tee off. By the time I got to the tee box, there were 2 groups of 3 up there and already started teeing off. Had to skip the first hole.
Week 3. 1st tee time again. No flags and guys mowing in front of me on every hole. I skipped the 3rd hole to get in front of the mower guy. He pulled up to me on the 4th green and turned the sprinklers on on me. Never even apologized.
Week 4. 4th tee time. Ended up getting paired with another single. Had to let 2 groups play through. Quit after 9 holes. Not the courses fault just icing on the cake. I either have terrible luck or….
Stay on the course. Because the rough is desert, rocks and all the other things that come with it.
Sundance
I like the course.. this course is the closest to my residence and will be playing here often. I’m new to golfing so as far as the technical aspect of the course I couldn’t tell you. I just try and stay out of the rocks.
