Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort

About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Our foursome played in less than 4 hours; I feel that other golfers are very impatient; they were hitting up to us. If we were playing slow, I would totally understand.
Fun track
A very nice resort-style course with a number of fun holes. Greens can be very tricky as they are usually very fast. This last time we played they were much slower - some of the members had been complaining about the greens being too fast, so maybe a change has been made. Regardless, this is a fun track to play, it’s one of 3 in the private Pebble Creek community so it doesn’t always show up on GolfNow. When it does, its well worth playing.

This is a nice course with some fun holes. Staff are super friendly and the course is very well tended. It’s one of three courses in the private Pebble Creek community so it doesn’t always show up on GolfNow, but it’s well worth playing if you get a chance. Forgiving
Interesting layout some challenging holes, take a rock club my game demands it.
Excellent
First thing you notice when you walk up to the first tee is that the fairways are extremely wide. Most of the holes were this way, but in all fairness there is not a lot of room to play outside of the fairways. Fairway and first cut were both very short. If you like to putt from the fairway this is the course for you. I found myself reaching for myself reaching for my putter instead of my wedges more often than I usually do. Bunkers are extremely well kept with a thin layer of soft sand. Quite a few holes with water elements. Had a lot of fun out there. Not once did we find ourselves waiting to tee off behind the groups in front of us. Played the whole way through without stoppage. Made it through in just under 4 hours with a glizzy stop on the turn. Not sure what the practice facilities are like though - my wife decided that we needed to get snacks instead of going to the range. But in all seriousness this course is one of the better kept courses for its price range. Not a 5 star review, but you get more than your money's worth.
A Gem in West Valley - Eagle’s Nest Golf course
I played this course first time as it’s almost an hour drive from Scottsdale but it was worth the drive. I like the practice facility and putting green. Staff in the pro shop is friendly and very helpful. Being a first time player at this course they gave me a free token for practice balls.
Starter was very open and communicated to us that you can finish the round by 5:30pm and need to bring the cart back to club house by that time. He also checked with us couple of times during the round.
I like the layout of the course. Fairways are in very good condition and the greens very fast. I would say 10-11 on steep meter. Rest rooms throughout the course and the drink cart also came around few times. Pace of play was little slow for the front nine holes but picked up the pace on back nine and we finished the round right at 5:30pm. We played in the afternoon so green fee was very reasonable compare to other courses. I would recommend anyone to ply this course.
Pristine conditions, excellent value.
The course was in phenomenal shape. Greenest grass I’ve seen in Arizona. Add in the humid conditions, it almost felt like I was in Florida. Couldn’t believe it was summer in Arizona with how well the course was maintained this time of year. Wide fairways, actual sand in the sand traps, and nice water features. Highly recommend, especially for the price. Great value.
Nice day
Good course and pace was 4 hours which was good. Need beverage cart thou.
Not bad, not great
Course was in decent shape. Tee boxes are not flat at all. Layout was ok but if you haven’t played before look out for hidden areas of rock and water everywhere.
Biggest issue was the greens. These are felt type greens that make no marks and do not give the ability to spin or stop the ball on the green. With all the greens being very tight and full of undulation, makes it nearly impossible to keep the ball on the green. For this reason alone I probably won’t be back.
