A great tune up
I usually visit this par 3 when I visit San Diego. Fun, challenging. And you are done in 90 minutes.
Short game
Good spot to work on your short irons and putting.
Fun day at Loma club
Overall this was a great course to play. We booked it through the hot deals so for that price we were pleased with conditions and the overall course layout. Would definitely play again!
Great Par 3
Great location, Great course. Played 9 with my son. Took about 1.5 hours. They are doing some aeration and replanting the boxes, but still workable. No issues. Love having a beer and taking our dog. Keep it up Loma Club!
Interesting course
So…tucked into a commercial area and over 100 years old was interesting. Parking is tough. No driving/short game area. Warmed up at Mission Bay GC up the road. Played with my wife and daughter (7) and was a lot of fun. Finished quick. It seems like the management doesn’t really know what they want to do with the course and almost seem like they want it to fail so the land can be redeveloped. These courses are what make golf fun, and give our game charm. Hopefully it sticks around for a long time.
Greens were like beaches
They are currently working on the greens - they were so sandy it felt like putting on a beach and the price to book on GN was higher than it was in person. Felt ripped off because I prepaid through GN. Would recommend Call and ask about condition before booking and ask what the price is. Overall, a decent par 3 course, and would recommend in general, but playing this week was not my favorite experience.
Lots of fun
A very nice short course. Set up well for you to work on your chipping and putting. Definitely worth the time and effort.
Great Short Course
If you need to brush up on your short game this is a great course to practice on. Clean and nice grass on tee box/ fairway/ and on the greens. For the price you can’t complain.
