Tecolote Canyon Golf Course

It was closed down when I went to check in. They told me the city would not renew its lease two days ago and closed the golf course down that quick. Personally I have been golfing there for the last six months of this sewer project and in my opinion the golf just kept getting worse because of all underlying problems from sewer replacement. Very sad Sam Snead please don't turn over.

Very friendly staff. Courses under construction but the holes that are playable are in good enough condition.

The course is under construction. I paid full price through the GolfNow app, but when I arrived, I learned the staff was charging players less than I paid because of construction.

Construction going through the course you can’t play 1/2 the holes. Very poor conditions and you shouldn’t be recommending this course without warnings!

There is no warning that the course is under construction, 9 holes are closed and many of the others were rerouted so that you are teeing off in the rough. The course has not been mowed since Christmas. I found 5 balls in the 3 inch high fairway that people could not find. Total waste of money. No reduction in green fees either. Also had to dodge construction vehicles all day.

When I showed up I was informed only 9 holes were "playable". This was my 1st booking with golf now

and I'm left disappointed and questioning the value of Golf Pass.

For 50 bucks I was expecting something decent but instead I got to play on a unmaintained golf course mixed with a construction site. Pace of play was extra slow since some people were spending more time drinking than finding their ball. Better off at welks than this garbage

It’s just a fair course, not the best not bad.

A lot of work around but it’s okay

The course is torn up by a piping project. The faraway is soggy. You play one through five The cut across to 15. Where you shoot over machines. At half price it's still not worth it..

They do not offer club rentals so we could not play the course and couldn’t get my money back. Would not recommend

1-5, 15-18 open. Modified tee boxes, wish I’d known I wouldn’t have played here. Could be a fun course once it’s finished.

****only holes 1-5 15-"18". False advertisement! Currently under city construction for sewer work. Nice little course when fully open. Join membership if you live close ( good deal) but course set up is currently just annoying and not worth the money!

We got kicked out because we had a young child with us. There was no where stating we could not. Employee didn’t even know how to refund my money.

Not sure how this place is still up and running. The course is in horrible shape. The grass was not cut, most of the tee boxes are dirt, the greens don’t roll. I mean seriously it’s horrible.

Manager was rude. We had a spectator with our 4some (my wife), tried to pay for her cart only, he said no. I paid for her round (even though she wasn’t golfing) and then he told me she has to ride by herself at her “tee time”, and he threatened that if he catches our 3 carts riding together on the course, he would kick us off.

Understandable for pace of play reasons, but the place was absolutely empty. Rightfully so, it’s hard as a rock, brown, dead, overgrown, greens are spongy, half the course is shut down for renovations.

Did I mention the staff is rude also? Great place!

Sorry to say this course has seen better days. The whole place is worn and the course is pretty rough. Greens don’t roll they bounce along. Paid $59 should have been $39.

Not a bad course. Got on for just a bit over 20 bucks. Great course for the price. Tee boxes could’ve been in a better condition but no real complaints.
