Interesting Course
Being from Minnesota it is difficult to assess winter courses in the south. This course was brown throughout he property. Some courses have green areas around the greens. Others have green fairways. This course was just brown.
Dustbowl
Course is in extremely poor condition. Tee boxes are so poorly marked, takes more time to find your spot than to play the hole. Who needs 5 or 6 tees anyway?
Bunkers are nothing but dirt & rocks. Fairways are dirt with a tuft of too-short grass every once in a while.
Unsure who designed the cart paths, but just stay home and play Mario Cart to get the same experience.
Not green but fun
Was told the golf course is in good shape, and they use Bumuda grass which currently is in dormant mode (Jan). When we got to the golf course, the fairways and the putting green are all BROWN! It doesn’t look pretty, but got lots of rolls on the fairway ls and the putting green was fast! Overall a fun course with good layout. It just didn’t look as pretty when it is not green. Would recommend the course.
New friends
The weather was great as well as the condition of the golf course. ...
It was worth every cent.
Greens
Butterfield is a good course to play at, however, Butterfield needs to be a little more strict with players when it comes to fixing their divots on the green. To many of them. Food was excellent especially the Nachos! Bar girls were friendly and courteous as well, thank you Butterfield!
Good round
A fallen beaten heater in the patio for hours shows no one cares about facilities under constant review. Great new installations falling under bad management.
Cold, Chilli Day!
It was a cold chilli day playing my round of golf. The food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent. Friendly and beautiful servers! Thank You BF!
Disappeared in the staff
2 Carts that were not charged me and my playing partner had to push even after we switched carts for the back 9 still another deal cart no marshal. Really disappointed in the staff course was good. no beverage cart. No water on the course

We had the opportunity to enjoy the whole course and weather helped alot...
Good Course To Play
Butterfield GC is a good course to play. I love there wide fairways and greens. However, most of their sand bunkers have hard sand, not good for your club. Cart girl was awesome and friendly. I would definitely go back and play at Butterfield GC!
Course with character
After a disastrous first hole where I lost two balls, I really warmed to this course. The bunkers and waste areas really added character to the holes. If you kept your ball on the fairways and greens, there was a good score to be made. Go into the bushes and waste area/bunkers you will be penalised!
