Worst Course to Play
Don't waste your money or time to play this course.
It has gone down hill from even last year and we've had more rain
Greens. Not one didnt have actual holes, bear spots, patched spots and you could putt 10ft without some obstacles
Fairways are greener because of the rain but they tired to fertilize with old granules that won't dissolve so you have rocks about the size of marbles everywhere and you can slip on these, you can't break them up, we tried
Sandtraps are concrete not been rototilled racks don't penetrate the so called sand
Tee boxes are I must say are good, because of the rain El Paso has had
We got a discount to play their and all I would say, they can't pay me enough to play this course again even it was a $1000 Dollars
They layout is georgous and Tom Fazio would be shocked and get sick to see what this Mgmt team has done to kill it
Not worth it if it was FREE!
Course is beyond rough! No real grass, just matted down weeds and random shrubs among a sea of dried mud patches. No way to get under the ball to hit it. Same as chipping off concrete. Bunkers are as hard as concrete and full of weeds and shrubs. they are not maintained at all and impossible to hit out. Greens have cancer throughout and random 2x2 foot patches of cut out muddy areas and uneven patches of turf. Absolutely the worst course I have played on in the last 2 years. Don't waste your time!
Good course
Great course and good value. You can tell they have been working hard to bring back this course. Staff was very friendly and helpful
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Worst course in El Paso by far!!!
Worst Golf Course in El Paso
Where do you start when there’s so many issues?! Greens are horrendous! Sand craters everywhere on the greens. And because of the craters, greens are not being maintained/cut. Course looks like they’re about to go out of business. Bev Cart personnel need to work on customer service and proper responses when dealing with the public. All this said, yes, they’re still charging full price. Yep you heard me correctly, full price for this sand box course. As a member, I would be embarrassed…and frankly, upset! Go anywhere else in El Paso, I promise you it will be better than this course.
Greens were rough
The course was ok, it was a good challenge but the greens were rough, lots of dead and patchy spots. Tough to putt on for sure. Over all it was a fun day and the weather was just perfect, the fairways were good and everything was soft after the heavy rain. 3 out of 5
Very good place and entertaining
Interesting course
An easily accessible public course.
Greens are mostly good with a few areas with bald patches.
Rough is largely sandy waste land.
Fairways are pretty good.
The layout is interesting with some fun holes.
Generally quite good. .
Not Playable Condition
The course is just not playable, the greens are poorly taken care of…the front 9 is not playable at all. The sand traps are rock hard like hitting off cement roads.
Getting better
The course is getting better as the water is flowing. The bunkers still have a lot of work to be done to as they are hard as a rock with no sand in them. The greens are green but do not hold a ball no matter how much spin you put on the ball.
Bad shape
Course is in bad shape. Had to wait multiple times for staff to help me with range balls and buying stuff in the shop. Greens had massive holes in them and none of them were smooth. Fairways almost nonexistent and extremely uneven and bumpy everywhere. Landing in the fairway was basically landing in a bumpy dirt pile. Bunkers hard as a rock with no sand in them.
Golf course in bad shape.
Fairways missing grass. Greens need improvement. Sand traps need more sand.
Nice views
Had two 5 players team making us all wait.
Gut tired and bored and only played 14 holes.
At one time 3 different teams standing at same hole. Waiting on those two teams.
Beautiful day for golf
We teed off at 12:30 in the afternoon and we let several single players through as we weren’t in any hurry.
The course is coming along since I played last month the grass is finally getting green- just needs more water. The greens are better as well and filling out- not so bumpy now from the punching and sand top dressing. Should be real nice the first week of May.
