Arrowood Golf Course

We tee’d off ten minutes late when our tee time was 12:54 and it took us 4 hours to play the front nine. No marshal in sight at any point. Talked to the pro shop at the turn and they took zero responsibility for the slow play and were extremely hesitant to go out and try to enforce pace of play. They blamed it on slow golfers and it being crowded. Maybe you should have a marshal out there and not book tee times 6 minutes apart. Didn’t offer any credit or partial refund. I love this course but will not be coming back until they fix the pace of play issue. Everything there is amazing besides the pace of play

We teed off worn 1PM for 1252 tee time. It took over 3 hours to finish the front nine with no marshals to be seen.

I love this course and have played it numerous times. It’s always in great shape, it’s a great layout, and the whole facility is awesome. But you can’t play here past 10am and expect to finish. I tee’d off at 1:00 and it took my group 4 hours to play the front nine. That’s absolutely ludicrous. There is no marshal to enforce pace of play, and there were always 2-3 groups on each hole. Every shot you’re waiting 10-15 minutes for the group ahead to clear. Completely messes up the rhythm of the round. I tried talking to the guys in the pro shop after our front nine, and they took absolutely no responsibility for it. They blamed it on slow golfers and it being crowded. Then maybe you shouldn’t book tee times 5 minutes apart on a public course! They hesitantly said they would go out in front of us to try to get things moving but told us to play the front nine again if we wanted to get 18 holes in. We didn’t pay $80 to play the same 9 twice. We ended up just leaving because we got stuck again on hole #2 behind another group. I would play here every week if I could finish after teeing off at 1:00, but this is a massive problem that needs to be fixed. Don’t play here unless you’re planning on your round taking 7-8 hours.

This is my third time playing here and found a troublesome altercation with the pace of play in which I was upset. I have a foursome tee time on 1:12, I was playing with my friends who were new and we were given to play the course a bit earlier on 1:09 and there’s no problem up until the 5-6th hole where we were told that we’re hitting the group infront of us which was the 1:03 tee time. They were complaining on how our shots managed to almost hit them and one of the member with a blue polo in the group warned us on hitting them again. Out of nowhere, one of the member in that group which was wearing a black polo cussed at my friend about not knowing the so called etiquette of playing golf being entitled to that just made us all mad till they mentioned of slowing down the pace of play due to the front of their group of foursome were playing at a slower pace of play. We were confused that we get shouted out of nowhere like that and the first time I played here was not this bad until now. We strategically were told by one of the staff in which they called due to the altercation and they told us to know our yardages and how far were hitting them. I was confident enough that none of our shots were going to hit them especially the back of our group tee time saw the shots as well. I even have to play the black tee to ensure that I won’t be able to hit them and still enough I was precautios with that. We spent around 2 hours and 40 minutes on the front nine which was out of pocket with the timing given to finish the front nine within 2 hours and a few minutes to be told. We kept our distances with the group infront and I observed by how they played slow and strategically waist the time even longer because of the incident. They tee the ball up like two to three times and spending some time to pick up their balls if found. There were no problems after the 16th tee in which was a downhill par 4 and they just played faster from there. I was able to play at a normal pace on that tee time but still managed to finish the course around 6:15 which was out of hand. I calculated that we were supposed to finish around 5:35. I am not sure whether coming back to this course at some time would be okay but I am not fine with some group doing that to us like that again and this might be my last time coming here. Hopefully some drastic changes of the pace of play could better up the course in Arrowood.

This was a really nice course with a great layout. The pace of play was a little on the slow side but everything else was great.

Nice course layout, good conditions, friendly staff. However we played in 5 hr 15 min with no Marshall in sight to move things along. Don’t play here on a weekend unless you don’t mind slow play.

Arrowood is a great , challenging course ! The staff was awesome, and course conditions were really good !

Love the layout, great greens, plus driving range has electronic tracking…really cool

I played this course for the first time. Considering the recent rains, the course was in good condition. The greens were very fast and rolled true. We played the round in 4.5 hours which was right on pace. The layout was great and hole 16 was cool with the 442 yard par 4 hole downhill to an island green. The rate for the course ($60) was very reasonable. They had a beverage cart, driving range and grill. A great experience and is certainly worthy of playing it again.

My son and I played this course as a warmup for the Farmers Open qualifier. It had rained for a solid week and up to the day we played. The Staff from the PGA Professional all the way through the Starter were wonderful. The Course was only on the path 5 holes.

A true test of golf from the tips, and seemed friendly enough for the first and second sets of tees as well, thank you Arrowood for the opportunity and hospitality.
