Arrowood Golf Course

Great track but it’s that time of year we all hate. This place is still worth playing regardless of the greens. Pace of play can be slow if you tee in the afternoon. Staff is very on top of it from the starter to the chicks at the bar. I drive down from North Orange County every couple months.

Pretty disappointing that Arrowood no longer offers a discounted rate during and after Aerating the greens. Slow pace of play, don’t bother playing here on the weekends.

Very enjoyable place to golf, pace was a little slow but not terrible. Greens were punched so we felt price was a little high but overall great golf and very friendly staff.

First time play this relativly new course for me, just met the green in maintanance, did not get the notification earlier.

This course does take a good 4.5 hours on a weekend at twilight but on the first day a Spring I guess the course couldn’t say no to anyone and let way too many people play in the afternoon. Bad omen after two holes and GPS indicated we were already 30 min behind schedule.

Course was in excellent shape. Need to say that the "Flight Deck" is a real game changer. Perfect place to warm up and see how your hitting your clubs. Weather was perfect and had a super time. Highly recommend this course.

Have not played Arrowood for several years and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements which have been made. The course is in good shape, the carts now have well functioning GPS. The cart girl was friendly and came by often. The range with practice area is good--grass tees would have been preferred but everything you need to warm up is there. This course presents many challenges--some quirky holes, lots of difficult carries, water hazards and bunkers, all of which keep you interested. Well worth considering if you enjoy a challenge in very pleasant surroundings.

I thought the course was fun, difficult at times, greens were extremely fast but true. Course was a little dry with some dead grass in areas but overall in good condition especially considering the drought in CA. But for $90 for the round I thought it was great. Group I was paired with was awesome and the day was well worth it. Not the best course in the world but a great course to play in Oceanside. Weather was perfect as well so that always helps. Staff was pretty friendly it was busy so they didn't have much time to interact. Cart girl was on point she made it around several times throughout the round. Always important when there is no water on the course. Also no coolers on the cart which is a bit of a negative.

Needed a marshal to deal with the idiot twosome in front of us. they came late and did notjoin up with the twosome they were supposed to play with. their skills were minimal and should have been on a muni course. arrowood is a nice course....too nice for them. they had a negative impact on my round.
