Arrowood Golf Course

Play here on a semi regular/monthly basis as it's a great value and good time but this round was painfully slow, close to 5 hours. Slow play ruins any round and it's not fun for anyone. No marshalls on the course and when the time was mentioned to the pro shop they gave the standard answer that stated pace is 4 hours and 25 minutes and we weren't that much slower which I complately disagree with but oh well.....

I think they offer a great value for the money. It’s a fun and challenging track that doesn’t seem to get old no matter how many times you play. My only complaint would be POP. Normally it’s pretty good. I’ve had 3:25 rounds here and 5:45 rounds here. I’d like to see them do a little more to keep it moving.

Be prepared to be challenged, especially the last three holes! Really nice course, pay attention to the scorecard as there is a mix of tees you can play. For example you can play the 9 tougher holes from one tee closer and nine easiest from one tee back.

Drive the ball straight and avoid all the hazards and the course plays rather easy but if you don’t even play very difficult courses in fair condition overall greens hold well fairways are very thin sand traps are horrible everyone is different

You won’t find better course conditions for the price here! Loved it, definitely going to be back

So I'd like to say first off the course is well kept and the layout is definitely fun. But overall my experience was well below what I would of expected for the price. I came Solo and expected to pair up with some one but then the staff told me I would have to share a cart. I found that honestly kinda odd and stated I wanted my own cart (just because you never know how long strangers intend to play, or I intend to play.) They then taxed an additional 18. At around hole 3 the Marshall then harassed us about having to many carts. I refused to turn in the cart, on account I just paid 18 dollars for it. And on hole 8 the cart then died on me..... I called the office they said they would come pick it up. But no offer was ever maid to bring a new cart. I wish this story was a joke but sadly it is not. It would of been a great round but unfortunately I was very disappointed in this experience will be a lasting mememory.

This is how a golf course should be run and managed. Friendly professional staff from the proshop to the starter to the marshall to the cart barn guy. You can tell they have a good culture. It's not rocket science but somehow many courses haven't figured it out or just don't care. First time playing and I was pleasantly surprised how well conditioned the course is, especially the greens. They rolled true around 10.5-11 as advertised. Great variety of holes and elevation changes. Definitely a challenge. A great value compared to others in the area. I'd play this over Torrey Pines any day. Highly recommend.
