First thing the staff is always friendly & helpful. I love this layout you will use every club in your bag. The last four holes they call The Quandary and they’re each difficult in different ways. The greens are the best in SD county right now.

One suggestion to reduce confusion and speed pace of play is to replace camo-colored tee markers with traditional black, blue, white, and red.

Course was challenging and fun. Well kept and pace was just under 5 hours. There was no Marshall monitoring. No cart person available, grill/bar did not answer 3 calls so we couldn't place orders for food on turn. No one at the bar when we stopped. Took about 30-45 mins to get 2 breakfast burritos and sandwich after finally ordering.

16 handicap. Course was accessible for me from the midrange tees. Excellent shape. Gave me all the challenge I needed. Last four holes brutal but so fun. Staff very kind. Beautiful hills. Awesome to hear the tanks on the range at Camp Pendleton. 16 is a beautiful hole.

For as hot as it's been this summer Arrowood is an excellent condition and I would recommend this course to anyone, place of pay was awesome and the staff was excellent really enjoyed my round there as did my buddies.
