Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

An osprey on the course Photo submitted by Joefie on 02/15/2013
Pines course needs work.
Too many bare spots with overgrown grass. Bunkers need sand. Tee boxes not in good shape. Cart path broken with big pot holes.
Golf during the LPGA Classic
I played this course a lot during the pandemic but the first time this year. Definitely one of the better courses in the area. It has a lot of tradition and everything was great. Course was in good condition and reasonable layout. There are a lot of dog leg, which is somewhat challenging. Cart person came three times. Starter was friendly and managed the tee time well. The Cart was in good condition but no gps on cart. We played the pine course during the LPGA classic, which is played on the bay course. Saw the ladies practicing before round. Pretty amazing to watch. Only negative we were not told ahead that we could not use the range or putting area due to the event.
Good classic layout well bunkered with chewy rough. 15, 16 and 17 will eat you lunch. Tees a little beat up but greens rolled medium speed. Fairways where a little thin . Good deal under $75 .
No Warm-up/Practice Available
The driving range and practice putting green were closed. I would not have booked a tee time there if I knew that.
Great place only 1 issue
Everything was great with the exception that a lot of tee boxes were under repair. Shortened the course quite a bit. Other than that, it was a great place to golf.
Nice layout but conditions were not great
I love the course layout, but the tee boxes were really bare, as well as many spots in the fairways. The greens were bumpy. If you are accustomed to fast greens, these would be considered slow. The staff members were extremely nice and anticipated our needs. The driver of the courtesy cart at the driving range even asked if we needed bug spray.
Excellent experience
Glad to see tee boxes getting attention. Don’t stop, keep going!
Always enjoyable
Played on Memorial Day with a 7:20 T-Time. The course was in great condition, the pace of play was perfect, and we did not wait and did not feel pushed. Weekends are a different story.
Disappointed
The starter told us it would a 4 1/2 hour round of golf. He didn’t tell us that there was a tournament going on The round lasted 5 hours. There was no ranger to speed up play. The last 5 holes a five some skipped ahead of us and they were not in back of us. On one of the par 3’a there were 3 foursomes waiting to tee off. The condition of the course was the worst I’ve seen it in the last 10 years. Not worth the $100 that I paid to play
Seaview Pines
Multiple temporary tee boxes for $125 round. Lots of bare spots in rough and fairways. Driving range looked like scene from Tim Cup. Overall very disappointing. Would not go back
