About

Holes 18
Type Public/Resort
Par 71
Length 6731 yards
Slope 126
Rating 72.1

The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.

Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

One of the best imunis in NE

Great course layout and challenges. Fairways and greens in great shape considering the amount of play Only drawbacks are the consistency of the traps and the tee boxes. If you’re traveling through Jersey, we’ll worth playing. Great seaside facility.

Nice Course

The course is nice , tight fairways, bunkers need work, many do not have enough sand. We were able to tee off early, most of the golfers were playing the Bay Course. Our pace of play was great, we wee a 2 some, no one behind us and foursome in front was 1 hole ahead, so no waiting for next shot. Staff very friendly and helpful. For the aveage golfer nice to play at east once. The one big problem was self parking. The lot's were full and were instucted to park across the street and walk over after dropping your bag off. My guess is there would prefer you to Valet park, that lot was empty. There was a conference at the site so that added to the lack of parking. Our tee time was 10:50 but tee off was 10:30 and finished in 3 1/2 hours.

Great course, but…,

Great golf course. Has always been one of my favorites for design. Traps have been worked on sufficiently. Fairways very good. Greens in great shape. However, the t boxes are a disaster; have been for years. Takes away from the overall experience.

Pines course needs work.

Too many bare spots with overgrown grass. Bunkers need sand. Tee boxes not in good shape. Cart path broken with big pot holes.

Golf during the LPGA Classic

I played this course a lot during the pandemic but the first time this year. Definitely one of the better courses in the area. It has a lot of tradition and everything was great. Course was in good condition and reasonable layout. There are a lot of dog leg, which is somewhat challenging. Cart person came three times. Starter was friendly and managed the tee time well. The Cart was in good condition but no gps on cart. We played the pine course during the LPGA classic, which is played on the bay course. Saw the ladies practicing before round. Pretty amazing to watch. Only negative we were not told ahead that we could not use the range or putting area due to the event.

Good classic layout well bunkered with chewy rough. 15, 16 and 17 will eat you lunch. Tees a little beat up but greens rolled medium speed. Fairways where a little thin . Good deal under $75 .

No Warm-up/Practice Available

The driving range and practice putting green were closed. I would not have booked a tee time there if I knew that.

Great place only 1 issue

Everything was great with the exception that a lot of tee boxes were under repair. Shortened the course quite a bit. Other than that, it was a great place to golf.

Nice layout but conditions were not great

I love the course layout, but the tee boxes were really bare, as well as many spots in the fairways. The greens were bumpy. If you are accustomed to fast greens, these would be considered slow. The staff members were extremely nice and anticipated our needs. The driver of the courtesy cart at the driving range even asked if we needed bug spray.
