Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Pines Course Seaview Resort Atlantic City
From the time we pulled up to the bag drop off the staff was there to assist. Course was recently aerated but the greens were still in good condition a few tee boxes were being attended to but they were seeded and being addressed. Pace of play was good. We played an additional 18. They did not give us a reduced rate for a replay but we were ok with that. We had time time between rounds. We grabbed some food from McGettigans which was good and quick. The second round we finished in 3 hours. I definitely recommend this course and staff
I enjoy the Pines course and find it to be rather challenging. The final par 3 are long and difficult. The greens are not yet recovered from aeration and are slow. Several of the tee boxes are in need of repair but I’m sure these issues will be rectified. It’s a fun course to play.
Good Course
Course is in really good condition.
Tee box areas need work.
punched greens
the course was what I remembered from 10 years ago except the greens were punched and was
not told when booked......the fairway bunkers were tougher then I remembered but then again 10 ago I was a better pplayer
Overall good experience
Nice round of golf in March. Course wasn’t in optimal shape but the staff was very nice and courteous. The pace was good, the food and beverage cart came often and it was overall a good experience.
very nice
very nice course. typical winter issues. starter was great
needs work
the people were friendly - the course was enjoyable - the tee boxes were very bad - the fairways could use work - the sandtraps were stony
Bumpy Greens
I’ve played Seaview Pines in the past. This was the worst condition I’ve experienced. The greens were punched and bumpy, making it impossible to get a true roll. I’m sure they will be better later in the year, but I would not recommend now.
Great course in awful shape
On all of the par 3's the tee boxes were closed and we had to hit off an artificial mat. Average distance was 90 yards. 90% of all the other tee boxes were in extremely poor condition with little to no grass and deep ruts. Finding a spot for level footing on the tee boxes was challenging. All greens aerated and not one putt was a true roll. 2 footers would break the opposite way if putted twice depending on how many aeration holes you roll through. Putts would jump 3-4 inches in the air. Sand traps very inconsistent, 50% very soft sand and 50% wet hard pack. Very disappointing to play in those conditions with no forewarning from staff.
Challenging greens
First time playing and for winter conditions everything was in good shape especially the greens. Looking forward to playing here in spring summer.
Spring golf
Early in the season but tee boxes were roped off. Had to use mats on many holes. Not in great shape yet. Although it hadn’t rained in a few days they still required cart path only. I don’t like that.
The facility and staff are great. I’m sure when the course greens up things will be spectacular
Nice course
I enjoy playing at both Seview courses. The course had some tee box repairs for a few of the holes. Can’t fault them for constantly trying to improve the course. The course was in pretty good condition for the winter. It was a little disappointing that it was golf cart path only. Course did not seem wet where it was required.
Stay away.
Got a great deal. $18. And was still a waste of time and money. One of the starters was welcoming and acknowledged my being there- the other was dismissive. Pro shop staff was great. Greens bad. Tee boxes bad. Fairways bad. Cart path only bad. See a pattern?
