Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Love playing it
The staff couldn't of been any more helpful, I even had the wrong date of going and they took care of it quickly and swiftly. We played the Pines and it wasn't to difficult, but can be challenging. I am looking forward to playing the Bay course for its view sometime soon.
Overall we had great experience. The golf course was in good shape and the pace of play was very acceptable.
If you stay on the fairway on this course it is possible to get on the green in regulation on most holes. The rough was very deep which had the potential to slow down the pace of play but we did manage to play 18 holes as a foursome in four hours. Green were slow but the starter told us that this was the situation and as time went on we were able to adjust to the green speed. Beautiful mature golf course. We were even visited by four deer out for an afternoon walk. Overall it was a great experience
Greens need work. Bay course is a better track.
The Pines course has many greens that are being resoded and a few fairways were also damaged. Tee boxes are all sloped. Other than that, it's ok and I thank Donald Ross for designing it.
Best Course!
This course was amazing! It was very challenging and the best kept fairways and greens my husband and I have played! It took a lot longer than usual because of a very slow group of guys in front of us, but we just took our time and enjoyed it thoroughly! The sea view from some of the wholes were tremendous! The staff were funny and couldn't have been nicer! My husband and I are looking forward to playing this course again, except this time, we're going to do a stay and play package! The resort is beautiful! I would recommend this to anyone!
Course was in poor condition.
We booked this course based on a recommendation from a friend who played it several years ago. While it may have been nice when he played, we were very disappointed. The course had damaged greens, which was not disclosed to us until after we paid and were being sent to the first tee. The rest of the course was poorly maintained. The tees were in horrible condition. I will never return.
Nice Track
While this course isn't long shot making is a must. Errant shots in the native grasses will almost certainly lead to a lost ball.
Greens are small and quick with a lot of break in them.
Great View !
Nice course. Target course. Fairway were in good conditions. However, the green were running very slow 8 max. which was surprising. Nice staff and very helpful. Watch for the Green hornets fly and TIC. Got bitten by a tic.
Course is in great shape
Bring some bug spray, if the wind is right the green heads will be attacking you. Other than that, the course is in great shape, beautifully landscaped, fast greens and lots of sand. i would never pay full price to play here but with the GolfNow deal I couldn't pass it up.
Great Course
Very challenging and beautiful. I cant wait to play it again
Enjoyable Round
I've been wanting to go to this course ever since seeing it host LPGA event on TV.
The facility is massive, considering it is asemi-private country club as well as a resort, and featured grass driving range, chipping green and putting green. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The course, while on the short side even from the back tees, played longer due to wind. Fescue grass lining rough demand precision off the tee, and false front made approach shots challenging. The greens are in great condition, and rolls true.
High tide from the previous day made parts of the course wetter than usual, but the overall condition was excellent.
I really like this place
Fun to play a place you can watch the pros play on TV. This course is in the best shape of any NJ track I've played in the last 6 to 8 weeks.
Great pace of play
Well maintained, great value, always good pace of play
Greens need attention
The reason I have gave it 4 stars not 3 is because I have seen it in great condition. We have played the pines course several times in the past 3 months. At this time the course greens were pretty beat up a lot of divit marks and area's that are stressed. Also every fring is under repair. (covered w/ sand). It is a nice course this is just the worst condition I have ever seen it. I looks like they are trying to get it back in good shape. My understanding is the Bay course is in much nicer condition. Which is were we will play next time until the fall.
Outstanding
Upon pulling up to Sea View my first thoughts were oh boy I'm outta my league here!!! But those thoughts went right out the window after my first interaction with a staff member! They were very professional and yet very down to earth and they put me right at ease. I played the bay course with a friend. The front nine was a little more tricky I thought than the back nine. However the conditions and the pace we were able to maintain were outstanding! I recommend this course to everyone!! It's by far the nicest course I've played in a long time! So good that I plan on going again this weekend!! Great work and great course!!!
Course is in great shape and is very challenging!
The course is in great shape and the holes are bvery challenging!
Having played Seaview Pines more then 100 rounds. I found the course not to be in as good of shape as it was in the beginning of the season.
The greens where slow and uneven, Areas around all greens where under repair. Not the way the course has been in the last two years.
The course only has 1 toilet facilities on the 8th hole
We had a slow 4 ball in front with a beginner that stretched our game to over 4,5 hrs., overall we enjoyed the course. Has fantastic views of atlantic city
Played the Bay Course
This course is in very good condition. The greens were pristine and smooth and true and fast. It is LPGA worthy after all. It is not very long but requires shots in or near the fairway as the fescue and marshlands are severely penalizing. I would play this course again. Gman
Wonderful staff. Greens in great shape
Pace of play great, easy access from Atlantic City
gotta keep ball in play, heather will cost you strokes very fast
nice course, watch out for flies when down closer to water, they sting. pace of play was very good, some difficult greens.
