Turriff Golf Club

About
With a history that spans more than a century, Turriff Golf Club has truly earned its position as a "Jewel in the Crown," one of the gems of northeast Scotland golf courses. An 18-hole woodland course that plays to a par of 70, Turriff Golf Club gives golfers the challenge they desire and the spectacular scenery they've come to expect for great Scottish golf courses.
Tree-lined fairways, expertly placed bunkers and water all add to the challenge at Turriff Golf Club, where golf course management is key to marking down a low score. Still, the course provides for plenty of opportunities for long hitters to bring out the big guns, especially on the par-5 No. 12 hole, which is the longest hole on the golf course. Playing to 6,118 yards and set on the River Deveron, Turriff is a perfect walking course for those that find carts an unneeded
accessory. For golfers who enjoy a little fishing on the side, opportunities to get out your fishing pole and try your luck at the river can be arranged at this club that was founded in 1896, and expanded to 18 holes in 1976.

Gem of a course
Always loved this course...lovely lush green...mixed hole layouts...polite friendly staff and not so affected by the weather as some others.
Great course
My first game at Turrif. What a gem of a course. Every hole different and interesting. Greens superb for mid October. Really loved it. I'll be back
Visitors on a Saturday morning!
Couldn’t believe we were able to get on at 10am on a sunny Saturday morning. Check in lady was very cheery and helpful and all 4 of us enjoyed they day. It won’t be so long before we are back.

TURRA
Course was in good condition overall but a few greens were a bit damaged. Was held up for 6 holes behind a senior gent with a Grandchild, who should have known better & shown some etiquette. Lady in shop was expecting us & was ready to let us play when we arrived. Food was very good. Would recommend to others.
winter golf
course was in excellent condition given the time of year and recent weather. Full course in play although mats were in use off the fairway. Plenty of variety in the holes, from 100yds par 3 to 500yds par 5. A course that you need to use every club in your bag. Enjoyable walking course although there are a few hills, but lovely views throughout. It has lined fairways, water hazards, plenty of bunkers and OOB hazards. Keeps your attention throughout. 1 of my playing partners is now looking at membership. Very enjoyable day with good food and friendly staff to finish it off.
Rosehall Turrif
Although Turriff Golf Club has been flooded by the river deveron bursting its banks twice in the past few months the course although quite wet in places was in very good condition .
