Turriff Golf Club
About
With a history that spans more than a century, Turriff Golf Club has truly earned its position as a "Jewel in the Crown," one of the gems of northeast Scotland golf courses. An 18-hole woodland course that plays to a par of 70, Turriff Golf Club gives golfers the challenge they desire and the spectacular scenery they've come to expect for great Scottish golf courses.
Tree-lined fairways, expertly placed bunkers and water all add to the challenge at Turriff Golf Club, where golf course management is key to marking down a low score. Still, the course provides for plenty of opportunities for long hitters to bring out the big guns, especially on the par-5 No. 12 hole, which is the longest hole on the golf course. Playing to 6,118 yards and set on the River Deveron, Turriff is a perfect walking course for those that find carts an unneeded
accessory. For golfers who enjoy a little fishing on the side, opportunities to get out your fishing pole and try your luck at the river can be arranged at this club that was founded in 1896, and expanded to 18 holes in 1976.

A Gem
This is an absolute gem of a golf course course that I will be definitely returning to Every time on my yearly trip to Scotland, the greens, Fairways and tee boxes were in absolute pristine condition. Club was filled with extremely friendly and welcoming people. to add to what was already great experience if you are ever in the area looking for a round of golf, please don’t overlook this course x
Great course and value for money
The course played really well the greens were running true and quick. A real bargain for a round would highly recommend
Very friendly, Beautiful course
Very friendly members and staff
Course is lovely and greens are immaculate, well worth a visit
Nice course
Pace on this day was slow, but that was mitigated by being asked to join up with two members. Course is very pleasant, and a good challenge. Well presented greens, fairways and tees.
Perfection
As Duff House Royal seniors attending our outing today I can’t rave about the course which is in great condition, the meal and bacon 🥓 rolls perfect and delicious and hospitality from the staff was perfect.
I can’t thank Turriff enough for a great day 😊
Thank you
Kev
Tremendous experience.
All players involved in the round loved Turriff golf course. From the welcome and the level of staff friendliness, The course itself offers an excellent variety of holes and the overall condition was outstanding from tee to green. On completion the meal provided was lovely & a special mention to Taylor who called the chef at home to come back to the clubhouse to prepare our food-5 star service. Will undoubtedly play again when back in the area & would highly recommend.
Condition of course

First time playing in Scotland
Excellent course in fantastic condition with beautiful views on every hole
A course well worth playing
Lovely course
Great conditions, pure blue sunshine. Ok it’s winter greens but that’s not a problem. First class.
Turriff golf club
Although green keepers were busy and many of the greens were undergoing treatment this did not detract from our golf. The temporary greens were fine and the course in pretty good condition.
One of my favourite courses in the region.
Challenging course worth the money
Found the course really good, played with a friend and both enjoyed it.
Challenging greens and some lovely holes throughout.
Staff were very welcoming and greenkeepers extremely professional.
Would recommend to anyone who is up for a challenge
Peterhead lads in Turriff
Very nice course, challenging fairways and greens but overall a good course with beautiful scenery.
Always a pleasure to play here
For the price offered this is a gem of a course. It was well presented and the greens immaculate.
Played this twice this year and great both times.
Wow
I hadn’t played Turriff for nearly ten years and what a pleasant surprise it was. The tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition - far better than I remember them. All staff, from the lady in the pro-shop to the groundsmen were welcoming and friendly. The course was busy but the rate of play was good and there were no appreciable holdups. My two friends and I had a very enjoyable round and we will certainly be back soon.
Very good
All was good friendly locals on and off the coarse could not fault it be back again
