Fine day to golf
Short not so challanging course, few kids out, let us through v nicely. Nice sand in the bunkers, greens just a bit slow.
Super course
Very pleasant from arrival to departure. Excellent course. Very well maintained.
Beautiful part of world
Course is short but very neatly designed plenty of play .
Really nice micro climate and enjoyable to golf!
Nice little 9 hole country course for beginner or iron practice
Driving range is good with lots of targets with distances marked.
Mostly fairly wide fairways.
Not very severe rough.
Sunday morning golf
We enjoyed a brief 9 holes in beautiful surroundings on a well maintained picturesque course.
Great Course
Played Inchmarlo for first time, great course and a good course for testing your short game. Not a long course but a good test of your accuracy. Holes 4 and 9 pin positions meant tricky putting on a slope. Went round in 88 and my playing partner 66. Will be playing it again on 22.10.21.
Great Course
Played this course last Saturday very good course friendly staff who showed us course layout. Pin positions on 4th and 9th hole made putting very tricky. Course in excellent condition going to play again on 22.10.21.
Best 9hole in Aberdeen
Very very good course this, easily my favourite spur of the moment course. Can get all the way round when I have a spare hour. Normally not a big fan of Par 3’s as my short game is terrible but the 5th is a great wee hole … I go back time and time again as it’s easily the best 9hole course in Aberdeen/shire, it’s immaculate, perfect balance between challenging and forgiving for a rookie and get at a great price !..
Good 9 hole Course
Great 9 hole course with a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes but quite a few of the holes were shortened with temporary tees.
Will play again when the work is completed.
Greens
Very very disappointed that when we arrived there the course was still using winter greens. I know many courses have been effected by this but we was not told about this on the booking nor at the pro shop. Apart from that it was fine.
Great little course
Booked and turned up looking forward to what I remembered was a great little course. Disappointed to find out that only 4 of the 9 holes were on summer greens, but thought at least we would still get a game. When we checked in we were told that the winter greens on 5 holes were in play and given a scorecard, but no yardages were given for holes which winter greens were active. Turned out that 7 of the 9 holes were now pretty much par 3’s. From what was seen on our way round, at least 3 of these winter holes had summer greens that looked more than playable for the most part. Granted that 2 of the summer greens that were closed were obviously badly damaged, but with this being said, we felt that there could have been better areas for the temporary greens to be put, 1 of these, I think it was the 5th hole, was just a badly cut bit of rough, the size of a really small tee box and the surface was not worth putting on. We both agreed that when all summer greens were back in play we would love to play the course again, but for people to pay greens fees at this rate, more effort could be made to make the course more playable and as normal as it could be. But all being said, we had 18 holes in glorious sunshine, in a great location. Roll on this place being back to summer greens and a good little challenge.
First time at Inchmarlo
First time playing at Inchmarlo on Friday, what a great course that is !... good layout, nice and short, extremely well kept even on winter greens. 9th is a stunning hole to play and generally found the whole place quite forgiving. 100% going back and 100% recommending to others.
Inchmarlo
Really good course I didn't realise when I booked 18 holes that it was a 9 hole course but it wasnt a hardship going around twice, it's still on winter tee's and greens but I'll be back to play it when it goes back to summer tee's and greens
Cold wet day
Course was on winter greens and short tees so it was not much of a challenge but I would like to return in the summer months as the full course looks like a good challenge, overall it was worth the £13 green fee
