Buckpool Golf Sports & Social Club

My wife & I enjoyed the variety & challenge round Buckpool. Course was in very good condition & played like a proper links due to hard & fast fairways. Having played it previously quite a few times would certainly advise anybody to go there. On the day there was no catering which was a bit of a negative. Overall good value for the money we paid.

We had a lovely game here. Very nice course with some tremendous views. Not the most challenging but a very good course. Would recommend to anyone in in the area.

First time at the course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some difficult holes but also some easy ones, a happy mixture

The phrase “hidden gem” appears so often these days but this course really was a fantastic hidden gem. The fairways were dry but gave a great run. Greens were amazing- well done green staff. Views along the coastline were breathtaking and with the sun shining what more could a golfer ask for - all boxes ticked. Staff were super friendly and helpful as were the members. A fantastic course - if the chance comes to play - do it!!

The weather for this game was so bad (storm cells which we only got the edge of but very strong winds ahead of these and freezing) that we had the course to ourselves. The clubhouse was really inviting with great views and lots of sun through the windows. The club staff were really nice. We lost many balls here as once off the fairway the long grass swallowed your ball. I also hit a lovely wood onto the centre of the fairway on the 18th, unfortunately colliding with a seagull, but couldn’t find the ball!

What a gem of the area. Really good condition with lovely layout and great views. We walked and I was glad it was fairly flat and has lots of seats at each tee, for the odd wait, although we were round in just over three hours. It was well signed posted, unlike one of the more historic courses nearby that we kept having to walk about to find the next tee.

I’ll definitely return.

Excellent value for money, Tee boxes and greens are in excellent condition, the bunkers and fairways a little more natural but totally playable. Went into clubhouse on arrival and got a warm welcome from the staff,patrons and the dog. Given info by locals on the layout and some tips. Went out and really enjoyed my game, almost links golf with amazing views out onto the sea. The 12th green is a fantastic hole. Couldn't recommend this enough as value was brilliant, I will be back next time I'm up

A last minute decision to play Buckpool but a great decision it was. The course was excellent in every aspect from fairways to greens and everything in between. Great views

Great course, great greens, definitely worth a visit. True hidden gem!

This course is a must play when in Moray. Great design and challenging enough without spoiling your week.
