Hot Deal only
Good place for taking a kid just starting the game, especially compared to most Orange County golf fees. Greens were punched and sanded, which wasn’t on the listing, so putting was no fun. Biggest recommendation would be to vary the yargadges a bit. Too many of the nine holes were almost exactly the same distance. Add a little spice by moving the blocks 10-15 yards forward and back so there’s a little shot making involved. Overall, for the hot deal price of $8, it was good. Wouldn’t go back for regular price of $17.50.
Nice little spot
Good little spot. Only lighted course. Besides baker. So not bad. A little more tlc to the course and price. And it's the spot alright.
Tough with soccer and frisbee players
We play this course to work on our short game. Seems it is getting tougher as they now have frisbee and soccer mixed in with golf play. It would be OK if they were taught golf etiquette, rake out the sand traps, be quiet and wait there turn and not jump ahead.
All players should be reminded of course etiquette if you want to continue to attract high end golfers to work on there short game. Too much cigarette smoke in the driving range area is very distracting to golfers.
Good starter Course
Course is for beginners and practicing your short game. Fun course overall.
Super Fun Family 9 Hole
First time playing at this course with my 8 year old daughter and we had a blast. Course was fun - staff super friendly and the holes were perfect for hitters under 150 yards. Avid golfers could play this course with 7-9 iron and wedges and still have fun with the family and the kids. Highly recommend this course though I bet it gets packed at prime time. Wildlife all over this course make it fun. Great off course area for sand trap and pitching practice as well. Go!
Great Price...Get what you pay for
We paid $16 for 9 holes...you get what you pay for! The fairways were rough, the greens poorly maintained, and there is no signage for the next hole. I guess if you want to just go out and hit some balls...not a bad place.
Relaxing round
Very laid back facility therefore very relaxing. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Great neighborhood facility.
Nice practice course
Overall I'm happy , I'm highly recommend to our buddies
Mini course of 9 holes
I took my 13 years son, it was nice to have a son- mom time. The courses are very short so you don't need driver. It's perfect to get along with your kids
trouble
This is not a golf course which Golf now includes.
Children plays a soccor along with and too noise/dangerous.. I stopped playing after 5 holes.
OK for the price
This course is about what I'd expect for $9 for 9 holes...short, run down area (place is surrounded by an apartment complex and walking trails). Nice staff and quick round for early morning.
Great Course
Small executive 9 hole course. Mostly par 3's but does have 2 par 4's. Was a little crowded but the staff and the other players were very pleasant. Will be back there in 2 weeks.
Just Right for a Beginner
I like this course for the short holes. It's a simple layout with a little bit of everything to keep you entertained.
Cheap golf
The greens are not maintained very well. The tees are not identified, but it is a decent course to play on with children. Not very challenging for experienced golfers but decent for newcomers to the game. Driving range is sub-par (no pun intended).
Short game practice.
Good course to practice your short game. The course can be walked and you can definitely carry your golf bag.
Friendly 9 hole course
Course condition has greatly improved! The staff rakes bunkers daily and the greens are terrific.
Soccer on a golf course?
This course has always been slow. One would expect for such a short course with poor conditions it would be breeze to squeeze in 9 holes. Our 9 holes took over two hours to play, waiting on every tee box. As if this course wasnt bad enough, now they are allowing soccer practice on the course as well. Followed a group of 9 guys in tank tops playing "soccer golf". I dont think I'll be returning, even for $8 rounds.
I like Lake Forest
The only think I really dislike is they added a new way to play, its called Foot Golf. I know they need to make money, but they had 15 young kid kicking off on number 1
