Drumoig Golf Hotel sprawls across 250 acres of rolling countryside inhabited by a variety of different birds and wildlife. The dramatic landscape provides the course with plenty of loch-side fairways and quarry greens. The lochs come into play on three holes, most notably on the challenging par-3 ninth. The difficult tee shot is followed by a tricky shot over the loch in order to reach the green. More advanced golfers will find the back tees provide a good challenge while the front tees are better for beginners. Golfers will also enjoy the views that stretch past St. Andrews Bay and the River Tay to Dundee and Carnoustie. The par-5 fifth is the signature hole of the golf course. The hole, which often plays into prevailing wind, requires a strong drive and a long iron to reach the narrow opening to the green.

Drumoig golf club

I played this course for the 4th time and evertime i play it it just seems to get better everytime . I am impressed by what they have done to th 18th hole which has made the hole more a pleasure to play . This course will challenge your golf with the long par 5s . I was pleasently surprised how well the course was playing after all the rain then some freeze overs but i just cant fauld the green staff for the way they are keeping this course a pleasure to play . If you want great value for your money then this is the course to play well worth every penny . Ive also stayes in the b&b here whilst playing golf and the rooms are very well kept and clean it is just a great all round experience for all golfers . O and there was no winter greens .

Excellent course, well maintained.

My friend and I played Drumoing on Sunday 1st Oct. We really enjoyed everything about the course from the variety of clubs required, how well kept the course was, the varying challenge and lastly the very scenic 9th, 10th and 11th holes. I would definitely recommend playing here to anyone who enjoys golf however I would advise playing during the week as when we played on Sunday afternoon we caught upto the group in front of us 4/5 times and were talking to them as they were waiting on the groups infront of them. I don’t usually play Sundays due to work commitments so maybe this is normal but if you want to get round in a decent time of 3/3 and a half hours I’d recommend playing during the week. Other than that, amazing course, thanks Drumoig for the experience.

Stunning Drumoig

Course was in superb condition, especially the greens. Challenging but fair course. Large group in front held us up for first few holes - perhaps if they’d had a couple fewer pints before their 11am tee off they’d have lost fewer balls.

Great layout, excellent condition

The course was in great condition, the holes interesting and challenging. Some of the views, especially round the lake, were amazing. The coffee and cake afterwards was good value and the whole experience added up to a great day out.

Never disappoints

My third time play here and I would definitely recommend it. Great Value for the money and a fun track with some very interesting holes. The hospitality was wonderful, we were joined by a couple of member and they couldn’t have been more enjoyable to play with.Great choice when you need a break from the wind and cold of links courses. We liked that they had buggies too. No clubhouse selling Drumoig logo gear.

Great course

This is a great course in great condition in a great landscape.

Beautiful views of the country side from most holes, especially the 9th.

The turn can easily destroy your card, or make it, just make sure your ball stays dry.

Can't wait to play it again.

Great day

The course was in brilliant condition - greens were running very fast and true. Fairways were lovely and we moved round the course in about and a half hours.

Clubhouse / hotel bar was nice with lively bacon roll and some drinks before we went out and starter was super friendly and helpful.

Holes by the water were really well designed and very exciting.

The bunkers had a strange shale sort of material in them but easy enough to play out of.

Great value for money and would go again.

Drumoig experience

Excellent value for money, coarse is in great condition especially the greens lady members should keep up with the pace of play or let quicker 2 balls through very frustrating and did not allow us to play our normal game.

Turtle Golf

5 hour rounds are not my cup if tea. Waited on every single tee almost always with the group in front and sometimes with the 2 groups in front.

The course itself was know excellent condition as usual.

Good greens and well maintained course

Unfortunately stuck behind 8 groups of 4 on an outing 2 hours 45 minutes for 9 holes !! Enough was enough ran out of patience and came off at the 9th. Golfers in front of us played worse the more they seemed to drink.

Only downside to the course was I wasn't allowed a pre round pint at 1045 as they can't sell alcohol before 11.
