Falling apart
This use to be a well kept course. Not anymore.
Lots of dead grass, gopher holes, no water in any of the ball washers, lots of geese and bird poop, 20 minute late start on tee-off, slow pace (5:15 round) and all range mats are worn out.
Thank goodness for Golf Now and hot deals. I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for this course.
It was great day to play golf, only problem I experienced was my booked tee time was never sent to the golf course went to check in and the starter had no info on my tee time that I made on line which caused problems and confusion
Nice shorter course
Pretty wide fairways but quite a few doglegs to navigate. Greens were in decent condition. Blue tees just a bit over 6000 so not too long. So, you’ll see some walkers.
Slow pace
First time playing here visiting from Chicago, the course it self is fine for the price, some parts of the course are ground under repair which is fine. The worst part is the pace of play, for a 18 hole round we finished the round in 5 hours.
Slow play
Had a teetime os 1:38pm walk off the course at 7:10pm with three holes left to play waited on every shot two to three groups on every teebox waiting to hit. Do not waste your time.
Bar not open no food. Range was closed until 3pm just overall ran poorly.
Great experience
I overall had a great golfing experience. Their pos system was down the majority of the day which was an inconvenience but by the end of our round it was back working.
My only complaint is that my golf cart did not have power to charge my phone. I use my phone to keep score and it died on hole 15.
Horrible management and holdups.
Today, my group visited La Miranda Golf Course, eager to enjoy a round of golf. However, our experience was marred by disappointments from the start. Despite having waited patiently for our turn, we were shocked when a group of individuals suddenly teed off in front of us, claiming special privileges due to their association with the course manager, Joseph.
This preferential treatment was not only unfair but also disheartening, especially considering the crowded conditions and the number of people waiting to tee up. It was evident that the management prioritized certain individuals over the paying customers, leaving us feeling disregarded and undervalued.
Furthermore, the lack of proper time management became apparent as we progressed through the course. With at least two groups on each hole, the pace of play was excruciatingly slow. By the time we reached the 14th hole, it was already 7 pm (we tee off at 2pm), and we made the decision to end our game prematurely due to the unreasonable delays.
Our overall experience at La Miranda Golf Course was far from satisfactory. The blatant favoritism shown towards select individuals, coupled with poor time management, greatly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable day on the course.
As a result of this experience, we intend to report these issues to American Golf and will refrain from returning to La Miranda unless measures are taken to address these concerns and eliminate any notion of special privileges. It is imperative that all patrons are treated fairly and that proper time management practices are implemented to ensure an equitable and enjoyable golfing experience for everyone.
