Doglegs and tiny greens
Really cool, old school layout with some fun quirks like blind shots, elevation changes and tiny little greens. 3 par 3’s per 9 was another interesting element. Course was in fairly standard condition for an LA County muni, but the tee boxes and collars around the green were pretty shaggy. All in all, very fun round at a good price, will be back for sure
Worst bunkers I’ve ever played and geese galore
This course has potential, but the bunkers are so atrocious it doesn’t even resemble golf. They’re concrete but have lips so putting out of them isn’t an option. Pro shop staff were indifferent, but that’s fine. Geese are everywhere along with their droppings. Fix the bunkers (just add sand) and address the geese and you’ve got something worth playing.
172 hour
I had one guy cancel 5 days before round. I went to change my foursome to threesome, and I couldn't. Very disappointed with your new policy of 172 hours. I had to pay for the guy that could not make it. I think you should give me 77 dollar credit.
One of the best Munis in LA/OC
Good course and great value for the money. Good layout that is forgiving but you can score low with aggressive shots. Pace was slow but that is to be expected for a Sunday morning.
Sloooooow!!!!!! Bumpy greens, and expensive beers.
6+hr round. All that play there are sloooow golfers. And they're terrible. Take 5 mins per shot and duff it terrible. Refuse to pick up after double par terrible. Refuse to wave up on par 3's terrible. $10 for a medium bucket and only had 25 balls in it. Beers $12.50 a piece and they want a tip .... What is going on?!?! And people don't fix their ball marks so every green you put on has craters that make the ball jump offline and numerous putt that end up just short because of them. I fixed at least 3 ball marks per green plus my own. AVOID!!!
Great surprise
Really enjoyed this golf course. Never been there in 45 years. The girl in the pro-shop was very friendly and helpful. We were the second group out in the early morning. Played in under 3 hours!
Falling apart
This use to be a well kept course. Not anymore.
Lots of dead grass, gopher holes, no water in any of the ball washers, lots of geese and bird poop, 20 minute late start on tee-off, slow pace (5:15 round) and all range mats are worn out.
Thank goodness for Golf Now and hot deals. I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for this course.
It was great day to play golf, only problem I experienced was my booked tee time was never sent to the golf course went to check in and the starter had no info on my tee time that I made on line which caused problems and confusion
