Glen Golf Club

About
The Glen Golf Club has long been the site of one of East Lothian's most popular golf courses, and makes for a must-stop on any golf tour of Scotland. It's a North Berwick East Links course that features excellent views over the Firth of Forth and offers a fun challenge for all levels of golfers. This is the Edinburgh Golf Coast, after all - East Lothian golf makes for an unmatched experience, and the Glen is in the heart of it all.
The Glen Golf Club sits a few miles away from Muirfield and Gullane and can be easily reached by road. The golf course features challenging and exquisite holes to lay, offering a mix of turf and traditional links right on the coast. Recent changes have included three new greens, extending the course to 6,321 yards, with a standard-scratch rating of 70.
After a round at the Glen Golf Club, head to the clubhouse, which offers a coastal view, dance floor, and golf-and-dine packages in the bar, lounge and dining areas.

Fab Course
Played 8th June course was in great nick greens running true. Had a great time with 19 other mates for the week. One of my favs
Windy winter wonderland
Amazing course in great condition. The wind was howling but just made it more interesting with fantastic views.
Really welcoming in pro shop.
Great fun
A trip to the Glen is definitely worth it. The views were amazing and the course set up really well and is challenging. The greens were good but not great but that certainly didn’t take the enjoyment away from the day.
Scottish Pebble
First time playing at the Glen and it was a real pleasure. I had heard it likened to Pebble Beach and having played both now I can see why. The layout is good with a mix of holes near the sea and on a little higher but the views are stunning.
Like Pebble it is not really links golf but it is a stunning seaside setting with wind playing its part to make every shot a challenge. I highly recommend the Glen as a great golf experience and wonderful value.
Great value
Amazing views and some cracking holes at The Glen. Conditioning was great and greens immaculate and were lightning quick- in December. There are lots of courses to play in this part of the world and if you are in the area it’s well worth a visit. The par 3 next to the coastline is sensational.
Superb views
First visit to the Glen & going into Nov I got Hot Deal thro GolfNow & really enjoyed my day. Strong wind & typical links you get it with you then against. Greens amazing for Nov & I play off 7.5 & went round in 8 over so happy with my game & everyone I met really friendly. Was staying at caravan site so course an 8 iron away!
Very underrated
When golfers research or hear "North Berwick," one particular golf course comes to mind: the West Links, famous for its Redan and several other quirky delights. But there's also the East Links, known as The Glen. It's a terrific course in its own right.
It doesn't quite live up to the West Links, but what it does deliver - quirky-fun first and last holes, with several cliffside tests in between, and overall better views than its sibling - makes it well worth the relatively modest (£75) green fee.
Bargain on the East Lothian coast
The course is built up on a Cliffside, so it plays much more up and down than a typical links. Happily, that only added to the interesting mix of holes.
Great but at a price
Its a great course for scenery and views. It has a lot if holes with wind and against wind so adjusting clubs essential. However price continues to rise. Have played this every year for 5 years and price is now +80% !!
Excellent course ,superb views , excellent value for an East Lothian links
First time visiting the area ,with so many other excellent courses to chose from, the course was as good as all previous information I had been given , and the recommendations were well founded. From initial contact with starter, to the bar staff , everyone was friendly. The course was in superb condition for March ,the greens putted perfectly, amazing as the greens staff had cored 13 of them in the morning! (There was a posting on their website that the work was being carried out this week)
Excellent value for money when compared to some of the other links in the area,
Can thoroughly recommend the course to anyone visiting the area.
Will definitely play again on a return visit to East Lothian.
Great course and real Links
The weather was extremely windy but the course was very good prepared.. Had showers thru 2 holes but that wasn't a problem. Enjoyed the course very much, so much that were gonna play again to day.
