Repeat visit to Haddington. Love the layout .

The course is very tidy well looked after. A good challenge. Par 3s are tricky.

In East Lothian this is the course to play for value.

Professional was welcoming and looked after our needs.

Bunkers the only flaw. Need some attention

A lovely parkland course with some great individual holes. Clubhouse and facilities look like they need some investment but it doesn’t detract from a lovely course which is well designed. A superb breakfast sandwich from the clubhouse set us up for a great round. Thank you for hosting us

We booked 18 but decided to play 9 due to other commitments. We arrived as the driveway to the club house was about to be tarsealed. We parked at the front gate and a greenkeeper gave us a ride to the pro shop in his buggy. This was so kind. He also told us the best way to play 9 and end up by the gate (1,2, 11-17). Really helpful and friendly. The two staff in the pro shop were also helpful and friendly and helped got us balls for a bit of practice at the driving range.

The fairways had variety and were interesting. The sneaky par 3 towards the end (16) was great.

For the quality the course is overpriced.

Don't understand how it cost what it does to play there but the fairways are like semi-rough.

Either improve the quality and keep the price the same or keep the quality and reduce the price. Gifford and Castle Park both play better and are cheaper.

Excellent course and layout, 2nd time playing only downside i have experienced on both occasions is how slow some groups are playing.

Haddington Golf Course - a course that's crying out for some TLC 😊. Played there yesterday and, honestly, it was a bit of a disaster. The big sell is no mats or winter greens, but when the conditions are as poor as they were, it's more of a curse than a blessing.

Greens were like putting on mud - slow, heavy, and unpredictable. Fairways were uneven, uncut, and just plain rough. Given the wet weather, it's no surprise, but it's a shame they don't take the opportunity to prep the course a bit better.

If you're a fan of a challenge, Haddington's got that in spades, but if you're looking for a decent round, you might want to give it a miss until they sort out the course conditions. 2/5 stars from me, and that's being generous.

This was my second round at Haddington I really enjoyed the first time so went back for another bash it was a totally enjoyable round and a little different from the first as the wind payed a visitthe pace of play was decent the staff are helpful and the pro shop has a good range of clothing and some nice clubs

Well laid out and maintained golf course with a good variety of holes. Very enjoyable round. Would recommend it highly.

First time playing Haddington and I really enjoyed it , long course with some challenging holes ,

Haddington is a lovely course that has a good mix of challenging yet playable holes for a very amateur golfer like us.

The staff were lovely and their kitchen is open for drinks and bacon rolls etc... pretty much all day.

The conditions were as you'd expect but due to heavy rain midway through the round I'd did get quite boggy.

Overall I'd reccomend Haddington especially when I got a round for just £18.99 midweek. The council courses in this area can be twice that price!

Will keep coming back!

I played this course as a first time single , I was show the map and was explained how i should go as a novice if only 4 games I took around 3 hrs to complete the course the course felt good greens and fairways in good condition and is in a nice setting . Also as I was last Tee off of the day you are joined by some of the local wild life

Course was nice, ground is a bit hard but that’s due to the heat so can’t blame the course staff the layout is challenging cause it’s quite long for an average golfer but it’s a good challenge

Really good enjoyable course to play. Loads of long par 4s with some well placed hazards on the fairways. A few cracking par 3s a good test of skill.

Played this course twice now, good value for money over 18. Will be back in future for sure

The clubhouse is very tired. The Tees badly need water, but it has been incredibly dry for quite a while. The fairways and semi rough are very well tended and the greens and aprons are very, very well looked after.

I was greeted by one pro and on leaving had a conversation with another - both nice genuine guys.

A good test of golf even from the yellow tees. I would happily play again.

Playing in ideal weather conditions around Haddington to a smooth pace, course playing well well looked on the whole, despite the lack of rain. As someone who's so used to the old course layout, getting used to the new layout is a challenge but still a nice change of pace.

Not too far a drive for one of the most affordable courses in Edinburgh/Lothians highly worth a round.
